Integration with Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive
I would like to be able to import documents from Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive
JobNimbus offers simple document, photo, and attachment storage, management, and sharing built-in, and we are adding new ways to upload in mobile 2.0.
We will always explore new ways to manage your documents, photos, and other attachments going forward to make things easier and more seamless for you. As those updates come out, we will announce them on our blog and through our newsletter.

I have been using Google Drive with Job Nimbus since last year... All of a sudden since yesterday, (only on my PC) when I go to JN, click to add attachment and go to my Google Drive, the new files that i've added to my email (Which I can see them in my google drive) are not seen in Job Nimbus... all the previous files I can see but not the new ones. I cannot figure out why. I've tried several reboots of my PC, etc logged out of JN and logged back in... the new files added are like they aren't there. It just started yesterday afternoon sometime. Was there a software update to JN? This is a big problem for me as all of our company's docs are saved in Google drive and then attached directly through Job Nimbus.

As I upload items to Google Drive it would automatically be attached to the job. Saving documents and photos to the drive is required as I scan documents and download from emails. I then have to upload them separately into Job Nimbus.

Guru - I think you're missing the point..
Updating a file saved to Jobnimbus:
1. Go to Jobnimbus
2. Download file to your computer.
3. Open file, make changes, and re-save file.
4. Go back to Jobnimbus.
5. Upload edited file to Jobnimbus.
6. Delete old version of file from Jobnimbus.
7. At some point, bulk delete all the downloads on your computer.Updating a file that is synced via Dropbox ( or Box, or Google Drive... )
1. Open file from your computer ( or Nimbus, with Dropbox sync )
2. Make changes and save. That's all. -

Files can currently be imported from Dropbox just like any other file on your computer. Dropbox is so good at what it does, that it probably doesn't make sense to reinvent the wheel. I think the ideal feature would be good synchronization with Dropbox. Examples: If I create an estimate in JN, it automatically syncs to the job file in Dropbox. If I Upload a picture or a contract as an attachment to a note, etc, it automatically saves / syncs the document to the selected file in Dropbox. Linking a Dropbox file to a specific job or contact in JN, and then having the options of all future docs syncing would be great. If 2-way sync is difficult, I think there is a lot of value even in one-way sync ( from JN to Dropbox ).

I would rather Dropbox Sync so I can share permanent folders with my adjusters an subcontractors. You either paste a shared link in JobNibus so only accounts with the link have a folder/subfolder...or JobNibus could have a view of local or Dropbox locations with the choice to choose a default and also see sub folders. That way if the user defaults to Dropbox the account folder is secure but a sub folder is shared.

I see you can import files from drop box straight into notes section for jobs. What I think would be the ultimate is add a feature in JobNimbus that acted just like Dropbox. Then I could save files straight to JobNimbus and skip the whole need for Dropbox. For example when completing an estimate in Xactimate I would much rather just save it in JobNimbus rather then save in Drop Box and then have to upload to JobNimbus. Same for photos etc... lets just save right to JobNimbus

I'd be fine if i could select multiple photos from my gallery to add to a job instead of selecting them one at a time.

I think it would be great to be able to store a link in JobNimbus for a particular drop box folder. I am currently using Drop Box with my clients as a tool for picture storage for there jobs. I have a folder set up for there company and with in that folder I have a folder set up for each one of there jobs. It would be great to have the link for each of these jobs stored in JobNimbus under that customer file. This would allow for the photo storage still in Drop Box but be able to access it from JobNimbus. Thanks!
