Conditional task automation
We have created multiple tasks that trigger when job status are changed - it would be nice if either 1) we could set up recurring tasks based on current triggers - OR 2) we could chose one of our custom tasks as a trigger for a new automated task - this would allow us to quickly automate our task generation for 60 day, 6 month and 1 year follow up 'touches' with our clients without having to manually modify the task each time we complete it (too much opportunity to forget to create a new task-resulting in missed follow ups)

This is something you can already do (using option #2). Just create additional automation rules that use the Tasks that are created by the other automation rules as your conditions.
The easiest way to keep this all together is by using Task Types. Make them unique for each, and it’ll be really easy to set up the automation conditions using those.

I agree with Sherri. Having a long list of things to scroll through to find something is not really efficient. We have all done it where we are scrolling through something and can't find something and it is right in front of us and then we finally find it. Technology is supposed to make things better, faster, and more efficient. Having a hierarchy or grouping structure would help in many parts of Jobnimbus. If we were to actually really really use the features and take the time to build all the different things, that list could be huge and not easy to navigate and to use when actually creating estimates, jobs, work orders, or tasks.

Using Task Types as the solution to what Mike Lane is suggesting is a solution however it can result in a ridiculous amount of task types which then make choosing a task type become difficult to keep sorted. A solution to this would be if JN had either task type grouping/sub-task types so we could search task types by a particular group or if JN allowed in automation for the admin to create a task based on the "Rule Name" task being completed.
