Communication

  1. Allow CC and BCC fields in emails

    CC & BCC fields are a must.

    Also:
    In any email format, the team members' and subcontractors' email addresses to be available as an option.

    Or, a contact list so we just need to click the recipients instead of typing the address in every single email.

    As of now, in the job section, only the listed primary email, sales rep, assigned and related contact available.

    We communicate regularly with vendor reps, subcontractors, and team members as admin and project managers.

  2. Email Signatures

    Email signatures should automatically populate when starting an email and replying. The amount of times I have to retype my signature daily is uttering exhausting.

    The ability to change the outgoing email from the @jobnimbusmail.com email to their company email.

  4. Add Attachments to Work Order Email

    Sometimes we need to send some supporting documents or photos along with the work order to the assigned subcontractor.

    We need an attachment button.

    Currently, we send the work order by sending email from the main job page, ellipsis - send email - select email template, but by using this route, we have to enter the subcontractor's email address manually

  5. Schedule Email Send Option

    Since I tend to work late night on my JN accounts, it would be helpful for homeowners to receive an email first thing in the morning rather than midnight. If we had an option to delay the email to be sent, it would look more professional on our end.

  6. Notification flag displaying the number of unread messages on both the desktop and mobile app

    A simple notification flag showing the number of unread messages would be extremely helpful to prevent @mentions and new notifications from being missed. Most apps that facilitate correspondence are using them. (Think imessage or the default email app icon that's on the home screen of your phone). Notification settings, such as banners and sounds, aren't sufficient for staying on top your correspondence. This flag should also live at the top of the page inside the desktop version.

  7. Record and log both inbound and outbound calls

    I would be great if we could have both inbound and outbound calls be logged to JobNimbus and also recorded.

  8. Create a note section in Activities section

    Place a section on top of the activities thread that would separate and prioritize notes themselves. Often notes get lost in the sea of communication/ emails thread. Seems it would be better to separate them as most that are important and made to notify. Also, could be helpful to allow notes to be prioritized by degree of importance through color code or some type of labeling.

  9. Be able to make a note "sticky" so it always stays at the top

    This should be pretty straight forward, but we have some notes on files that would be much easier to reference if we could sticky them to the top.

  10. Red Flag or Identifier to show when a customer sent in a new email.

    WHen a new email is recieved, a red icon or some sort of identifier along with automatic emails may help our logos keep better track of who needs to be responded too.

  11. Able to send Subcontractor emails via Automations

    Would like to see Subcontractors added as possible recipients for emails. We would like to be able to send them reminders of their assigned Tasks or Start Dates on Work Orders.

  12. External communications tab

    Add a communications tab under each record to make it easier to look for customer interactions. Currently having it all in activity makes it hard to go through so much scrolling. A communications tab for all external communications would be great.

    For the reply all function to pull in all the recipients listed on the email not just the primary contact.

  14. Enable notifications for customers when a split payment payment due date is approaching

    The ability to turn on a customer notification when a split payment is created so we can notify them when that due date is approaching if it hasn't been paid.

    It would be great if we could create a droplist of email contacts when trying to send email instead of typing in the email address every single time.

  16. Custom Work & Material Order #s

    Hi there! We use different order #s for different vendors & subs. The current token options are not sufficient. Or at the very least enable us to edit each individual work or material order #.

  17. MORE EMAIL RECIPIENTS FOR EMAILING DOCUMENTS

    Currently, JN's Document option only allows the primary contact as the recipient. No additional address field.

    Would be great if we can add multiple email addresses and cc & bcc fields.

    Also, having a contact list (list of team members, or regular contacts) to choose recipients from.

    We should be able to send an email from the documents tab or the photos tab or the task tab instead of having to go to the activity tab all the time.

  19. When using email templates do not have them delete the existing text written.

    When responding to an email, we will select under “Insert Template” our individual template that will insert our Signature. When we do this, it deletes the subject line. If we have already typed something in the body and then go to insert our signature, it will delete the entire body that we typed up.

  20. Removing tabs in the contact section

    Removing the tabs - Documents, Photos, Financials, work orders, forms. For Jobnimbus users that have JOBS feature set up. These tabs in the contact section are creating a lot of problems as they should only be used in the JOBS feature for each job.
