  1. "Save As Template" during estimate creation should NOT save templates at the company level

    "Save As Template" should only save for each user with the ability for them to delete it as well, OR, it shouldn't be available for users who aren't admin.

    Currently, the "Save As Template" option appears on multiple pages for each of our layouts making it too easy for people to accidently save a template and mess up what we want our employees to be able to access to create accurate estimates.

  2. Please Improve Design and Layout for Estimates

    Presentation is very important to closing deals and I believe JobNimbus has an incredible opportunity to become the undisputed king in the market-- so far, Roofr has the best proposal design in my opinion. There are very limited designs in SumoQuote and you can only select one template for the entire company across reports, estimates, repair estimates, etc.

    Below I created a few designs that are clean and minimalist, similar to a Roofr proposal. I'm not a professional designer by any means but the SumoQuote layout just feels a little clunky compared to Roofr, although I will have to hand…

  3. Add Multiple Emails (Non-Signers) for Quote Delivery

    I help draw up and send quotes for our owners and some of our sales team from time to time, especially for new construction jobs. It gets sent from my email, which is fine, but it would be nice to be able to add their email address, so they get a copy also. Even if they are assigned to the job, only I get the email notice and copy of the sent contract, since I'm the one that physically hit the send button.   4. "Direct Price Entry" – because it’s about entering the final negotiated job price directly without automatic cost adjustments.

    I would like to request a feature that allows me to manually enter a straight price for a job when I negotiate a final amount with a client. Right now, I have to rely on the profit margin slider to either bring me up or down to the agreed price, which can unintentionally change my material and labor costs. The only other option is to create a separate line item for the agreed price, which is inefficient and clutters the estimate. I should be able to simply input the agreed total price directly, without it affecting my calculated material costs…

  6. The customization of products and services could really be improved. Right now your options are limited to name, description, and price.

    Being able to make that product or service discountable or not (You don't want sales to be able to discount subs for instance). Whether it's taxable or not, what category it falls under, and having input for certain products (i.e. what size is it).

    And most importantly, being able to attach material costs to a single line item. I am not a roofer, so we do things a bit differently.

  7. Linking vs COPYING

    Instead of linking option 1 to option 2 - why not allow user to copy option 1 to option 2 - this way the user can replace a component with another - while still keeping the quantities of all the other components intact -

  8. custom csv headers for external measurement integrations - advanced measurement token mapping,

    it would be incredible if under the estimate settings page, under tokens, user-created token fields came with the ability to include naming convention mapping for the headers on the source CSV file.

    i discovered that a roofr report can be imitated, because the only data that is being validated are the pre-saved CSV headers from the roofr report.

    this would also make it so hover and eagleview reports could be parsed even if the integration isn't enabled/no valid account (if this is why we dont have the capability now, tell the c-suite to collectively eat a d*ck)

  9. Personal and Account Estimate Templates

    In SQ, our team used to be able to generate their own templates and manage those outside of the company templates. That was removed with the new estimating and our team has to create custom templates with their initials to know the difference and it makes navigating estimates much more difficult

  10. Ability to Lock Specific Estimate Page Layouts from Salesmen Editing

    Create a feature where the admin that created the estimate template can LOCK certain pages, so that a sales rep cannot edit them in the field (either by accident or on purpose). The best example would be the Home Improvement Contract/Terms and Conditions. I would never want my salesmen editing that.

  11. Option to remove supplier banner from quote details page

    The supplier banner at the top of the quote details page should be dismissible. It really gets in the way on smaller laptop screens, and is frustrating when companies like us don't even use material ordering through JobNimbus.

  12. Allow Admins to Build/Assign Personal Layouts for Team Members

    Most of the reps in our company love the idea of having personalized quotes, but aren't familiar enough with SumoQuote to be able to effectively create them under the layouts section. I would love a way to be able to build my team layouts and assign them to singular reps.

  13. NSE - Provide Override toggle in Profit Settings to apply a Default Margin on all Estimate items

    Similar to a default margin for new ad-hoc items, have a toggle in Profit Settings that allows Estimates to bulk apply a specific default margin. When an Estimate loads for the first time, all items would have a default margin set, despite what is stored as a markup/price in Products & Services.
    This is especially important for organizations that use the same margin for all items. This way if a business margin changes, we don't need to modify every single item's markup/price. We could just have a override setting in Profit Settings that always applies 40% margin to all items…

  14. Date Signed field should be completed

    In legacy estimates there used to be a field called Date signed that was filled when the document was esigned, but that has been abandoned since the sumo quote integration. Now there is no way to expose the actual date that a job is sold. This is extremely frustrating and I have asked in a variety of different ways so I am spamming user voice in every related place. I am tired of making workarounds and exporting information to an external server so I can filter out my data. The field exists, just have sumo quote use the day's date…

  15. High Volume Photo Share with Clients

    While the SumoQuote system does have the ability to add photos to quotes on the inspection page, we need a way to handle high volumes of photos. Commercial jobs as well as insurance jobs can require lots of documentation. Hundreds of photos or more can be needed, but this causes issues with loading and with generating the PDF's. We need a method by which we can share larger volumes, either higher compression for PDF viability or some sort of link to cloud access.

  18. Why is the unit of measure before the quantity?!

    There is not a person on the planet that would purposely put - Install Singles SQ 100 - on an estimate or a Scope of Work….Yet that is what we are stuck with.. PLEASE CHANGE THIS…. Or just allow minor tweaks for layouts of things…

  19. Remove or change the Bold “Description” title line in estimates.

    It’s distracting and blends with the section titles. Feels like it’s there by accident. An looks even worse with multiple sections… Also, each section should be in a separate table, they blend into each other and almost defeats the whole purpose of creating a new section when the only thing separating them is the awkwardly bold “Description”..

    Or just make the font weight and size customizable…

  20. NSE - Product Selection on the authorization page

    Put a section in the "signing and upgrades" section to add color selections like it is in SumoQuote. This makes it very simple and straight forward for customers to indicate their product selections.
