It would be nice if we could convert an estimate or invoice into also a work order to send to a supplier or sub contractor.

Our v1.16 update is live and includes a Work Order tool. You can create a work order from scratch or convert an estimate into a work order with just one click.

It would be good if you could use this functionality to send instructions to your own operatives on parts of the estimate you want them to do. You would need to be able to alter or add to the descriptions on the work required before sending this out but this functionality would be better than having to raise seperate tasks through the system. In effect you would break down the estimate into the labour, plant and materials and then form works orders to send to suppliers, subcontractors and operatives and control your budgets you talk about elsewhere at this point.

It could be the same as an Estimate and a Contract with an option to add the price of the labor and materials. this could be very simple.
