Forms make it easy for me to update the team and enter information about a job for my customer. I use an Android device, so a document wouldn't be good, and isn't practical for moving the data to additional, needed areas.
For instance, when doing a roofing job we sometimes come across the need to get additional materials. Mismeasurements, unexpected decking replacement, materials delivered damaged, etc. When this happens, an onsite team member (usually myself as the boss does estimates and other items) uses a form for the additional materials and any pertinent photos. I usually start the form as we start the job and save as a draft until the job is complete which is another reason the Document option does not work well for us.
The photos are put into the overall photos of the customer, so there is a workaround for that. But, if I could create a document, email, estimate update (for the insurance as well as the customer), all off of the data provided in the form, I could work faster, have fewer errors in my back and forth looking at items between the same device or multiple devices/pages and I could provide onsite updates to the customer who is asking for the info as I go over it with them.
Data interconnectivity within JobNimbus is very key and this does slow things down significantly. When a form is completed, I would like to be able to show it in the overall activity log and be able to set automation in place for some of our forms (ie - additional materials form filled out I would like to have automation for our office manager to update the billing).
Thank you for your consideration of these features.
