Weather & Project Date - Project Tile options on Boards
Boards is a huge advantage in the giant shuffling puzzle of project scheduling. I like that there is the ability to pick and choose what shows up on a project tile. I would love to have two new options I think would give a big advantage in this ongoing challenge: weather forecasts and project dates
Project Dates: Being able to see scheduled install/repair date on project tile would give easier survey of upcoming projects at a glance without having to use both Boards and Calendar. I don't have a strong grasp on what the different use cases are for a Contact's start / end date (on main Contact page) versus using Install Task start / end date as project date. Either one on a project tile would be great tho. This would be helpful for Board usage in several ways but in particular as it relates to a possible weather option (below).
Weather Forecasts: Weather is a significant logistics hurdle in the roofing industry. Having a % precipitation for the scheduled day of project and/or live weather for the project address would provide a great advantage in rearranging the schedule each day/week. I realize this might require some sort of integration with weather tracking service. I know you can do this relatively simple in Google Sheets so perhaps it wouldn't be that difficult to build in. Perhaps this can appear on the Contact/Job page as well.
Example: we have a status on Boards for "Fully Scheduled". Let's say we have 15 projects in that bucket. To be able to see at a glance on a Monday that we have 4 jobs scheduled for this week with 50% chance of rain helps us adapt and respond more efficiently and proactively.
