Ability to Add Documents to Tasks for Calendar
I saw where this was turned down due to a lack of community interest in the past. To whomever makes those decision, I politely ask that you consider that most people in construction companies do not spend most of their time submitting feedback to this forum. There are most likely a limited number of users who participate here, and those participating users hear and issue complaints/suggestions for the companies as a whole.
Now....
It would be great if we could add Job Documents to tasks in such a way that they could sync to Google Calendar. We do not have our subcontractors on JobNimbus due to the cost and that we don't want to accidentally share sensitive information with them.
The best way we currently have to share the documents we need to share is to export it from JobNimbus, add it to the Google Drive, then attach it to the event on the Google Calendar side. Not a deal breaker but certainly an inconvenience.

I would add that having the field users see this information is critical. Currently you can add documents or photos to a task (let's say an installation task), but those are only visible to office users. So if you want your installer to see any information about the job you'd have to give them full access to all docs (including contracts, invoices, and other sensitive information). This is completely nuts. We actually do pay for our field guys to be on the app, but without this feature it's just a dumber version of Gcal and I think Mr. Ross has a better way that would save us a bunch of money...
Here's pics of a test task with an attachment (you can't see it even in the desktop unless you click into it) and the doc tab (this is not accessible from the mobile app). We currently use SumoQuote work orders which does an excellent job at providing a concise overview of the job with measure sheets, detailed photos, and materials needed. Would love if we could just attach that straight to the install for the the team who's on the ground.
