Add "Roof Load" to Delivery Options on Material Orders (QXO/Beacon)
Most of our jobs (around 90%) require materials to be loaded directly onto the roof. Currently, the Shipping Method dropdown only includes “PICKUP” and “GROUND DROP.” We're forced to manually type "Please ROOFLOAD" into the Note to Supplier field, which risks being forgotten and could result in incorrect delivery.
We’d like “ROOF LOAD” added as a selectable Shipping Method so it can be consistently applied and communicated to suppliers. This option is already available when ordering through QXO, so we hope it can be added similarly in JobNimbus.
6 votesThis is now ready to use on material orders. QXO recently allowed for this in their API's and we had it updated in JobNimbus.

Creating Material Order - SLOW
Goodness, when you create a material order and it's integrated to a supplier, it goes slow as molasses, like you're running an old computer. If you have to create a material order from scratch or start with a material order template, it makes the process take a LOT longer than it should. Very slow...need speed.

the ability to permanently make changes to a material orders template.
Currently if changes are made to a material order template there is no way to make them permanent. For example, I set up a material orders template, I realize I forgot an item that we use with that template, now I have to remember to manually enter this item every time I am going to place an order, OR I need to do a whole new order and save it as a template just to add the one item.

You can add the “Subcontractors” field to any template by using the following:
1. Go to your name at the top right and choose “Settings”
2. Go to the Templates tab on the left side
3. Find the Work Order template and choose “Edit”
4. Click into the section you want to edit.
5. Place your cursor where you want this field to go.
6. Use the “Insert Template Field” option in the toolbar to choose: Work Order, then select “Subcontractors”
7. Save this section, then save the template itself. Now when you generate the new Work Orders, it will pull in whoever is set as the subcontractor on the Work Order at the time of creation.
Hope this helps!
