Job Boards: Organize Work Orders by Template
Submitted a previous request but realized I worded it wrong. Sorry!
Within the Job Boards, it would be very helpful to be able to filter the board to display results based on the Work Order Template.
For example, we have different work orders templates for specific types of jobs (Municipal in this case) that would be better to separate into a different Board. They might all follow the same workflow so we don't necessarily want to reorganize them that way.
If you create a Type/Workflow for each of your Work Order Templates, you’ll be able to do this in a snap.

Currently, we have boards divided by Type. We use Type to classify the geographic area we are doing the work in.
ie: North towns, East towns, SH Village, etc.
We also have different types of jobs for municipal projects vs. residential work. However, this is difficult to classify on the Job Boards because you have to choose Jobs OR Work Orders. It is more practical to always use the WO boards since that is how we follow the workflow.
We have created different work order templates for municipal vs. residential work because the information required is sometimes different and we want to be sure we
Once you are within a Work Order Job Board, there is no way to separate out different Work Orders based on the template they were created from.
for example: We currently have templates for municipal, residential and repairs.
It might be useful to have each show up with a slight visual variation (background color) or some other way to tell them apart on the Job Board screen.
Hope that helps clarify.
PS: There may be a better way to achieve this so please let me know if there is!
