Upgrades are formatted as single line items so we can't include the labor and material line items to be split into material orders and work orders later. We have to do the takeoff in an estimate section to get the price, transpose the price into the single upgrade line item, and delete the section in the estimate - losing our takeoff. If we zero out the price on the line items and hide the section within the estimate to preserve the takeoff, we can't show the section totals on the estimate.
