Have options for how the Calendar is organized
Have an option where we can organize the calendar by Crew. Where we can organize row by row by crew and not organize it by the size of the job. Wayyyy more confusing. The color organization when managing multiple crews with multiple jobs looks very chaotic and very hard to follow. The only thing I can change is which crew is what color? Would expect a little more options in this area to fit peoples preferred organizational layouts.

the ability to search the calendar by Customer Job name or Name of Task
the ability to search with a Spyglass in the calendar by Customer Job name or Name of Task. So when a call comes in we can search the calendar and see when the job was scheduled.

Multiple start and end dates for jobs
Currently you can only add one start date and one end date for a job. But some jobs span multiple dates, but not the days in between. It would be great to be able to add multiple start and end dates for a single job.

View financials on Calendar. Display options on calendar similar to boards
I would like to view my financials on the calendar. I have a certain sales goal I try to schedule for each day and it would be helpful to see it on the calendar. Right now I have a job scheduled board where the job cards display the latest financials (estimate and invoice) but it’s difficult to switch back and forth when I’m trying to schedule jobs.

Filter / Searchable Calendar
It would be beneficial to have a searchable calendar. We manage numerous jobs, each often involving multiple trades. Being able to filter the calendar by job name would allow us to view the entire timeline of a job from start to finish, instead of seeing every single item assigned to the subcontractors or crews, or having to look under Tasks as a list.

Tasks on Calendar
It would be great if when tasks are created, either individually or through automation, they could be selected whether to show on the calendar view or not. Many tasks that we like to have are more so a check list and reminders, not appointments or day-specific, so they greatly clog up the calendar view and distract from actual calendar items like appointments. While we can filter them out within JobNimbus, when using Google Calendar or others, this isn't possible.

Calendar: Map:
We need to have the ability to view the map and filter it by Job Type, Job Status, Contract Signed Date, & Salesperson.
This would allow us to know where we are doing well, where we are not doing well, who is doing well in certain areas, what services are more successful, and where to spend marketing dollars.

Color Code Work Order Statuses for Production Scheduling
We want to start using the Work Order statuses and boards, but are struggling to manage them from the calendar. We would like to have an option to color code them by their type and their status.

Limit Scheduling Job to Working Hours
JN allows jobs to be booked afterhours!!!!!
Please remove the ability to book afterhours from the dropdown box on the job side.

Contact Start Date - Visible on Calendar
The contact date now shows up on project tiles on Nimbus Boards which is great. However, we aren't able to use this feature as our way of project scheduling because this field doesn't show up on calendar. Don't want to have to duplicate entry of entering start date on contact's page and create an install task just so I can see it on Boards and Calendar.
It seems that Contact's start/end date is intuitive that this is the project scheduled date so we don't want to create a task for it, but rather have that contact's start/end date be the…

Private Calendar Settings
There needs to be an option to mark certain events as private. Personal events, sensitive conversations (HR), etc. Right now, everyone can see EVERYTHING.

Separate calendar entries from tasks
Want to the ability to schedule meetings, job events and recurring appointments separate from tasks. When creating a meeting in Google calendar and using the syn function, it will automatically setup hundreds of task unless you make the task type Meeting as the default. It is then difficult to create automation for tasks because users overlook changing the task type. It would be beneficial to treat the calendar like a calendar and allow for recurring meetings, conflict notification, calendar sharing etc.

Color Code Map View
Currently, when you click on "map view" it just displays a bunch of red markers on the map. It would be very helpful to change these markers to the color that the user is assigned to in the calendar.

Calendars specific to Sales Only, Service Only, Production Only.
The ability for people to turn off what they don't want to see has value, but for those who need to see everything, it would be easier if Sales, Service and Production had their own dedicated calendars,

A shared calendar accessible by all members
We like to have all of our installs on the calendar accessible by everyone in our company. The only way to do this now JN is to set an all day event and link each person to it individually.
The problem with this method is that for people who are viewing multiple calendars at once (our admin staff), it duplicates the event for everyone invited so admin staff are seeing 10 copies of the same event. This both clutters and bogs down the calendar.11 votes
