Need the abilty to send emails from within tasks, ie. Appointment Confirmations

I'd really like the ability to send appointment confirmations and use the data in the task (ie. date, time, sale rep, etc...) using a template. Currently there is no way to send an email from a task, or to use the field placeholders that are available when creating templates.

    That's not correct. There is no way to send an email from within a task, so unless you are using automation, you can't do this. If you send an email within a note, it does not take any information from the task or any task and you end up with empty field.
