Merge Reports - Estimates and Invoices
Would love to see the following improved with reports...
- Ability to report on estimates and invoices together (currently I need to run them separately then do a vlookup to link)
-Include additional customer level data on the estimate/invoice reporting, particularly customer status.
-Exporting - any numbers are exported as text fields, and if it's a currency field, it also exports the dollar sign. Which means I need to remove all the $ signs and convert each into a number so I can sum the numbers.
Would you be able to submit these as individual requests? Let’s use the first one for this (I’ll update this ticket after you submit the other two) and do individual requests for the other two. That will help us gauge and engage each individually.
I too would like to vote up reporting improving. As the person said above, being able to link estimate fields like "estimate date" into jobs reports for sales numbers. I would also like for all of the custom and built in fields to be able to be reported off of.
Also the ability to report "quoted" jobs even after they are moved to sold. So currently we can not view a report that shows us the amount of "quoted" in a month vs "sold." If you quote and sell a job in the same month then it is complicated to back into the amount of dollars that were quoted in a given month.
Pipeline reporting for the sales function would be great as well. For example being able to identify "hot" "cold" "warm" etc. leads outside of having to hit "edit" first would be awesome.
I am going to do a separate post for this one as well, but dashboards for reporting, the ability to condense/count/sum, data in different ways, and the ability to see more then just 100 lines of data per page are all big ones.
