Group Task Reports by Related Contact/Job

More robust task reporting allowing for grouping by related records (i.e. jobs) allowing for all tasks in a report segmented by multiple job, etc.

    Combine Task & Activity Reports

    Is there a way to get task and note information in one report?

    I need a report that has the contact name, notes and tasks for each contact by salesperson.
    For Example, Jane Doe, last few notes (called 2/18 for service, mailed letter 2/2, etc) tasks (appointment on 02/01/2018) for each contact with in a time range. Then I need to sort or group it by each salesperson.

    I have been trying to make the "Assigned to" column a group but it will not let me. The column header never becomes a plus sign. Are there only certain columns that I can use as a group in reports?
