  1. Color Names on Text Color Picker in Templates

    I would like to be able to edit the colors in email templates easier. It's difficult to edit the colors via the HTML, but I struggle to distinguish between what is blue and what is purple on the text color picker. It would be helpful if the colors had a name when hovering over them so I could tell what they are.

  2. Ability to type a custom number for the estimate total

    To be able to type the number you're trying to get to and it automatically adjust the margins to the appropriate percentage.

  3. Hide Templates

    I would like to be able to 'hide' templates so that they do not show up as an option when creating a doc/estimate/etc. I don't want to delete them in case I decide to start using them again in the future, but I don't want a bunch in the drop-down menu that i'm not currently using.

  4. A better document/template builder

    Every time I want to take a word file or excel file we have of one of our company documents and copy and paste it into the document template creator it messes up the layout so much its unusable. Template builder/editor is one of the hardest and most unfriendly feature in JN. The editor is so boxy and clunky its not user friendly or customizable. We would love to import more of our documents into JN and add template fields to auto populate info when created but can not do that effectively with the current design.. Also font selections and…

  8. Purchase Order #'s

    In the invoice template, there needs to be a hard coding to add a PO# or Reference # on the top next to the Invoice #. The alternative is typing out the PO# in the customer notes, however this is not widely excepted with our corporate clients and leads to documents being rejected.

  10. Square calculator

    Create a form or excel/google sheet file that can be added to a job to help calculate squares/materials when measurements were done by hand. Currently doing this in google sheets then having to add into to JN

  11. Ability to edit work order number to match job number

    When submitting a work order you should have the ability to make the work order ID number editable. It currently generates a number that could be correlated to a completely different customer/job with that same number. Why not make this editable to so that customer, job, and work order have the ability to all have the same ID number? Giving us the ability to make this change in the template would help associate the work order to that customer.

  12. Attach Specific Document Types in email template

    Because you are able to define each document type which is uploaded, I WOULD THINK that you can make an email template that attaches all documents labeled as user defined "Document Type" to an EMAIL TEMPLATE. IF you can add this feature it would make the process 100x easier.

    ie If job status is set to follow up - send email template "follow up" Attach all documents with type as "follow-up documents"

  13. Auto updating pricing on templates

    Automatically update prices in templates after updating prices in "Products and Services" under settings. We use templates a lot for quotes, ordering and estimates. It would be nice that after we update the price in "Product and Services" we can Click a button in the "edit template area" to update all the items that are linked to the "Products and Services" page. We have about 30 template estimates and updating multiple every time a price change happens in almost a full time job for several days.   14. Attach a "Company Document" onto a document template

    ok guys, are you ready for the next big thing? Another billion dollar idea? So the document feature is almost perfect, but we need to have access to attaching a "Company Document" to a "document" we create from a template. I created some cool PDF's from illustrator to bolster up the template look, you know, eye candy for the clients, but in order to hook the pdf to the newly created document, the pdf must first be downloaded from the "company documents" to my computer, then uploaded to the individual contact, then create document, then connect.   16. Allow CSS Styling on Templates

    Many of our templates are based off the same CSS styles, so minor updates requires me to update each individual template HTML source code under the <style> tags on each template. Allowing users to link a style sheet hosted on the web to templates within the HTML source would massively improve user experience

  18. The work order template and the estimate template need to have the same format.

    In the WO template there isn't a amount column. I would like the ability to have a total appear in the section when checked, like it does in the estimate template.

  19. Work Order Modified Automations

    There is a built in feature to automatically send work orders to subcontractor, but no built in features to automatically send modifications. You can create an automation to do this, but since attachments cannot be automated into emails, there's no way to send the updated WO to the sub, except manually. On weeks with weather, there are a lot of adjustments to job start dates, which means a lot of manually sent emails.

  20. Ability to add custom columns to Templates

    Specifically we need a column on our Materials Order template for the material source (i.e. Beacon, Shop, ABC, etc) but I can think of many more examples where this would be useful.
