Currently, when a customer signs an estimate and selects an add on or upgrade, the system does not automatically add the related material and labor costs into the bottom financial section. Because of that, the projected material costs, labor costs, COGS, margins, and profit do not update correctly.
This creates inaccurate job costing and makes it difficult to see the true financial impact of approved upgrades.
Requested improvement:
When a customer selects and signs for an add on or upgrade, JobNimbus should automatically include the associated material and labor costs in the job financial summary so the following fields update in real time:
Projected material costs
Projected labor costs
COGS
Margins
Profit
This would make the estimate and production numbers far more accurate and help teams make better decisions without needing to manually recalculate everything.
