  1. Improve Mobile Task Creation Process

    So here is a universal complaint from my team. I mentioned it in an email as well so maybe it's being worked on already. When I set a task and want to schedule a time, there are too many steps involved. I have to change the calendar to "Picker" then click that it's not an all day task, then change the End time First, then the start time. Is there a way to change my default settings. i.e the calendar is alway set to a 1 hour appt, when you change the start time, clearly the end time changes with…

  4. Show Work Orders on Mobile App Calendar

    Show scheduled contacts, jobs, work orders, and material orders in addition to tasks on the mobile app calendar.

    The workflows available are when approved to create a job or a work order. Neither of those show up in the Android App calendar nor on the web interface calendar.
    That requires RE-ENTERING the info into a Task. Redundant, inconvenient and time consuming... also easily forgotten and so a job does't get done. DISASTER!
    The workflow is broken at this point.
    * Please add Jobs & Work Orders to the calendars in the mobile apps and the online calendar view.

  7. the ability for managers to have information available to them on the app, in order to be able to do their job easily.

    what is the point of anyone, other than standard sales people, to even have the mobile app if the access level's features aren't even available to them when they are out and about. Specifically the Calendar aspect. Kind of stinks as of right now. Isn't doing anything for us. It doesn’t allow managers to see what’s on the calendar for everybody, which they need to be able to do on the go via the mobile app if they are going to be able to do their manager thing: make sure all is well and going smoothly with our customers each…

    This is already available when using our “Groups” feature, which you can enable in your Settings > Features tab (free).

    Once enabled, you can go to the new Groups tab in Settings and create groups, separating your team into smaller “teams”. Each team can have one or more Group Managers who then have access to their group’s data both on the web and on the mobile app.

  8. Phone Integration (Inbound Calls, Caller ID)

    When a current client returns a call to a mobile phone with JobNimbus app it will recognize the # and direct the call through JobNimbus so a note can be made in the clients file on completion of the conversation.

    It would also be great if the clients name was displayed as well as their number so you know what client is calling.

    Update 2.2.0 of the mobile app now includes caller ID for both iOS and Android! Now you’ll be able to see who from your JobNimbus Contacts list is calling right from the lock screen and can greet them by name!

  9. Deep Links in Mobile for Email Notifications

    Ex. When I get an email notification of a new lead on my phone, I would like clicking on the contact links to take me to the mobile app instead of the desktop version of the website. If it's difficult to differentiate, perhaps the option of placing mobile-app specific links would be a good solution.

  11. Share Documents on Mobile

    Adding the ability to share attached documents through text messaging, dropbox, google drive, etc on the mobile platforms. It would be handy for customers and subcontractors that don't have email.

    Hi Sean!

    The best way to do this is to use your built-in camera app to take all the pictures, then can select all those photos that you’ve taken at once by hitting the Add Photo and choosing “Pick from Album”. Just choose all the photos you took and then they’ll be uploaded together in one step.

    We’ll be improving this interface in future versions of the app, as well, so this will definitely be getting better soon.

    Whenever i click on a click on a calendar entry the pop up that appears gets in the way of the other entries

  15. Material Orders on Mobile

    We want to be able to get operatives to give small material orders to merchants when collecting materials so that this is logged on Nimbus against the job. We could then do away with the order books they carry and we would have the cost information immediately. We would like to control which merchants they could use and have a maximum order value we could assign.

    We had an internal server issue that was preventing sync, which has now been fixed. We also have an overall update to our sync structure coming in update v1.4 of the mobile app, due out very soon that will provide more consistency.

    I’ll let you know when that update is ready for download, but let me know if you continue seeing syncing problems with the app.

  19. Give me the start time of a task (appointment).

    In the calendar view and task view on the mobile app, it would be nice to have the scheduled times listed below the date. So that I see where I have free time and so I can map my day.
