Hide Company Photos View on Mobile
I would like to be able to hide the new company photos view on my mobile app
1 voteYou can hide the company photos view using the customize home screen feature of the mobile apps.

Be able to document calls/texts in the new mobile app, just like you could in the old app.
Using the new app, if you text/call a customer from within the app it doesn't track on the customers account. In the JN Legacy app, when you text/call a customer from within the app, after the call you got a little pop up to enter in a note with the call time amount. This helped us track calls and any texts made by users. This was a great feature and feel it would be important to add to the new app.
31 votesThe way that this was implemented in the old app opened up the business to a lot of risk. We don't have access to the messaging app on people's phones and so there is not way to verify the message that was actually sent. So a user could send a message from the JobNimbus app but the actually message might not be what was sent which could cause a lot of problems. For the foreseeable future we will not be adding this feature

Shutter sound for photos in android app
I work in sunny Florida and when I take pictures I can't see my screen due to glare from the sun. Being able to have a shutter sound when taking photos in the app would be very helpful so I know I have taken a photo by hearing the sound when I can't see my screen.

Any way I can go back to the old app setup. This new one sucks. I hate it. There was nothing wrong with the old one.

Why did you take away
Quick Select Buttons Must Come Back!
It seems like you design the app based on recommendations from people who do not use it. Why did you take away the quick select buttons for contacts and calendar on the mobile app? You also removed the map button while in an appointment. Now, we have to go back to the home screen and click on the schedule. And, we have to select the name of the client in order to get the map button. Why make it harder for us to access the items we use as the core of why we…

Save Custom Filters for Tasks, Contacts, Estimates
Currently if I want to filter my tasks, customers or estimates, the Home Screen view does not reflect the filter and each time I go back the task, customer or estimates I have to reset all of the filters every time….EVERY TIME. Why? We need a save filter settings option

Add a city and state to the mobile app calendar-we try to schedule our workers back to back and it saves time if we can see what city they're in so we aren't sending them across town for appointments.

Ability to upload to contacts on IOS app even if jobs are enabled
When sharing an attachment, or document from your IOS phone, the app will not allow you to select contacts if you have jobs enabled to upload attachments to contacts. Not all documents, or photos need to be on the Job Records and some need to be on the contact. It would be very helpful to have the option to choose a contact to upload the items to.

ability to select subs and suppliers on email in IOS app
Update the app so that users can select subs and suppliers when emailing from the material and work order level.

Enable yes or no check boxes when Creating Document
In the old app, we had the option to have yes or no questions that could be checked by staff when creating a Final Inspection document, now it will not populate the same while in the app.

Unfortunately logging the actual message sent is not possible. Due to privacy concerns, third-party applications cannot see the message body when it is sent. This feature was discontinued because a user could have a message recorded in the activity feed that was not accurate to what they sent in their message to a contact.
As an alternative, JobNimbus provides Engage which supports sending text messages from within the JobNimbus app, in addition to supporting JobNimbus automations, text-to-pay, and more.

Being able to view work orders on mobile
On the website you can just search and view work orders by #. When on the new updated app you can view them on the calendar but they are not searchable within the app. It would be great if there was an option just to search the material order # like you can the customer #. Many times work orders are assigned months out and they can't be viewed on the app unless you're in the calendar.
