Tasks is a great way to mitigate this situation, but we know that having a lightweight checklist would be a lot more convenient for something like this. It’s on our list!

This has been on your list for 2 years. Why not fix it? This is honestly the most important thing you could add to JobNimbus. I must have a checklist, whether it's with JobNimbus, or another CRM software. It's clunky to integrate some other document into JobNimbus, and it does not have a feasible workaround. I fear you might be over-engineering the concept of a checklist, and failed to add the feature because it doesn't meet all of your requirements. Even something incredibly basic (like allowing check boxes in a task description) would suit my needs for now.
