Also include option to make required before changing status.
We have a fairly extensive workflow list (over 40 items) for one of our job types. I have struggled whether to build the list "past tense or future tense" with steps that "still need to be done" or "have been done" ex: Need to Order Permit vs. Permit ordered. The issue is if a job has a workflow status that has been completed (Permit ordered) its not really displaying what i need to do next. Also a problem is if we do steps out of turn which often happens then we dont know if a step has been completed or completely missed. Would be AWESOME to pop open a menu with a checkbox column for completed and a column for N/A as sometimes some of the steps are ...... well....N/A LOL.

Tasks is a great way to mitigate this situation, but we know that having a lightweight checklist would be a lot more convenient for something like this. It’s on our list!

I want to run an automation for when a group of tasks is completed. For example, I want to send an email once the Task Type A, B, and C are all completed. Currently, the system only allows for one to be sent per type completion.

A board system would be a great idea from a Visual process of the items required to be done on a job. This way you can move completed and bill if that is an option for the project.

This has been on your list for 2 years. Why not fix it? This is honestly the most important thing you could add to JobNimbus. I must have a checklist, whether it's with JobNimbus, or another CRM software. It's clunky to integrate some other document into JobNimbus, and it does not have a feasible workaround. I fear you might be over-engineering the concept of a checklist, and failed to add the feature because it doesn't meet all of your requirements. Even something incredibly basic (like allowing check boxes in a task description) would suit my needs for now.

Have a a customizable punch list that would need to be completed on each status. This would give us the option too see at a glance what is missing for the job or WO to be moved to the next status or step.

It would be extraordinarily helpful if there was a way to track tasks within a job separate from workflows, or between statuses. For example, we could apply for a construction permit, and while waiting for it, have other tasks or status going on while waiting for it. Then we need to signify it has been obtained. A checklist or checklist template for within jobs would accomplish this. Display it at the top.

I have a long checklist that I want our sales staff to use to be sure they did not skip anything for each lead. This is used for Sales Management too. You already allow templates to be custom made. It should be simple to make a new category called something like Custom Checklists. All that is necessary is to allow custom labels and fields.
