  1. Set tasks to be done by Job position instead of assigned to or a specific person.

    As it currently stands a task can only be automated to assign to 'assigned to' or a specific person. It would be extremely helpful(and your competitors do this) if you could automate tasks to 'Salesperson' or 'Estimator' or 'Office Admin' and that way we don't have to constantly change the assigned to field during the workflow to get tasks assigned properly. A specific person is not good because depending on how the job came in or location that specific person may or may not be the right person to have the task assigned to.

  3. Automate a Job to change status when all tasks are completed

    It would be extremely helpful for a Job to change Status when all tasks are completed. We have many tasks that may not be completed in the same order every time, so it would be extremely helpful for a Job to automatically change Status when every task is completed.

  4. Allow Limited User Access to see tasks that aren't assigned to them

    Currently "Limited User Access" profiles can't see Tasks related to the contact unless assigned even if they are designated as Sales Reps on the contact. It would be useful for the Sales Reps (who have Limited User Access Profiles) to see all tasks associated to the contact.

  5. Ability to Add Documents to Tasks for Calendar

    I saw where this was turned down due to a lack of community interest in the past. To whomever makes those decision, I politely ask that you consider that most people in construction companies do not spend most of their time submitting feedback to this forum. There are most likely a limited number of users who participate here, and those participating users hear and issue complaints/suggestions for the companies as a whole.

    It would be great if we could add Job Documents to tasks in such a way that they could sync to Google Calendar. We do not have…

  6. Need more task icons to choose from when customizing tasks

    I wanted to add a phone icon to the Phone Call task and discovered there isn't one. It seems like it wouldn't be too difficult to add more choices of icons.

  7. Task should be visible in Activity

    I wish tasks would show up in the activity so when asking a rep what is going on, I don't have to look multiple places.

  8. Change task times

    Add ability to create custom time intervals on the desktop calendar. The app allows for a 15 minute task but the desktop requires at least 30 minutes.

  9. Template Fields for Tasks (plus, Calendar Invites for Subs)

    It would be SO beneficial if I could include templated fields to tasks such as Work Order numbers, Job Numbers, the Job Description, etc. to a task instead of having to manually input this information.

    This is a feature that would be most valuable in conjunction with being able to include Subs in Calendar Invites, so long as I could tailor their access to information. Right now, if a task is related to a Job or Contact, then the calendar invite is going to include the customer’s contact information. This is great for the use of internal employees. However, if…

  10. Tasks would feel more like tasks rather than calendar inputs. Syncing task to google calendar tasks

    The jobnimbus calendar could be clearer. Google Calendar is the preferred method because of its more user-friendly formatting. Tasks created in jobnimbus should be presented as tasks within the google calendar, not appointments on the calendar unless a specific time has been assigned for the task.

  12. Notifications for unassigned Tasks

    There should be a way to get notified if a task is created and nobody is assigned to it. for example if I have an automation create a callback task, but nobody has been assigned to the job, the task doesn't have anybody assigned to it, and I have no way of knowing. I need a way to be notified of these tasks

  14. Task activity show on the related contact/job activity

    It would be really cool if there was a way that notes activity could reflect together on the related contact activity. So I could have the notes in the task & in the contact, then be able to search by related to each task.

  15. Duplicate Tasks

    It would be great if we could duplicate a task. Sometimes we start a task on one day, but need to finish it another day. Instead of moving that task, so our calendar isn't up to date, or having to recreate the task all over again, it would be awesome to have an option to duplicate the task.

  16. Ability to add notes to Tasks

    Currently on mobile app, with tasks, we have a description field. But, we need the ability to see notes on the task and be able to input notes as well like how its possible in the web browser.

  17. Task Type that requires the user to select an outcome

    Create an outcome task type that requires the user to choose the outcome prior to completing the task. This could be used in an approval process if a manager needs to approve or deny something, can be tied to automation to send a job in a certain direction depending on the outcome. Very useful!!

  18. Ability to keep tasks visible after marking complete

    It would great to be able to keep certain tasks visible to specific assignees even when its marked complete by one of the users instead of it disappearing.

  19. Appointment Results (Configurable List)

    Request:
    Ability to select the result of an appointment. Either the ability to configure our own list or an options list with Kept, Canceled, Rescheduled, Client No Show, Employee No Show, etc.

    Background:
    We track how many appointments are set by our reps, now we would like to be able to track their performance. Ideally we want to gather metrics such as: which reps have a better appointment set to close rate, who has the highest cancelation rate, or which clients cancel repeatedly.

  20. On the Home Page, have the ability to batch complete tasks and batch undo complete tasks.

    Because, occasionally this system decides to mark all my tasks as completed making me click on each individual checkbox to uncheck the completed task. Very frustrating. Perhaps the IT department should fully test the product, again and again.
