It takes a long time to open the Jobnimbus App
each time we sign in we have to relog in which is annoying. and lately it is taking a very long time to boot up.

a sorting option in the mobile app for contacts that did not make "unknown" appear
As of today, 3/26/18, on the mobile app, there is a way to sort contacts by company, first or last name, or by date updated, but when you select either first/last name or company, it makes all of the ones that have an empty field appear as "UNKNOWN" for their name.
For Example, If I sort by Last Name then it will show all the company's we do business with (ie. contacts who do not have a first nor last name, only have a company name) as "UNKNOWN" as the display name.

Android App in South Africa
The IOS app is already available here but most of our staff use the android platform. We want to use Salesrabbit, but it integrates best with your software, so it will be great if we can have Jobnimbus on android.

In order to attach PDFs, you will go to the app where your PDF is currently stored and use the Share function of that app, choose “Open In…” and then choose JobNimbus. You’ll then be able to select the Contact/Job where you want to put that PDF and it will save into that Contact or Job.

turn off task notifications on mobile app
When I open the mobile app and go to tasks, it pops up a screen displaying this for example:
"Task assigned
Automation (contact) assigned you a new task
DISMISS VIEW"And then I have to select Dismiss or View.
It then repeats a similar popup until I go through every single new task assigned since my last time using the app.
I'd like a way to turn this off.
1 voteYou can turn off mobile push notifications for tasks this way:
1. Log into JobNimbus on the web
2. Go to your name at the top right and choose My Info
3. In the Notifications section, either uncheck the box for Tasks if you want to turn off all Task notifications or switch the dropdown menu at the top of the section to “Email” instead of “Email and Push” so that it no longer shows those push notifications in app for you.For further assistance, please contact support@JobNimbus.com. Improved Photo Quality when taking photos from within the App
Improve photo quality for the photos taken on the app.
1 voteYou can adjust the resolution of photos taken with the mobile app this way:
1. Logged in as an admin, go to your name at the top right and choose Settings
2. Find the option for “Auto re-size images” and adjust the dropdown to your preference.
3. Click “Save” at the bottomThis will now be the setting for all users taking pictures on the mobile app from that point forward.
Just to be aware, increasing the resolution can increase sync times, storage used on device, usage on cell data plans.

Sort by Status in mobile app
When filtering jobs the app, trying to sort by Status it does not have any options. It only says "Add a type filter" and it doesn't let us add or select a specific status. Is there a way to do this?
1 voteIn order to filter by status, you just need to set a Type filter first and then it will show the statuses under that type which you can choose from.
We are fixing the messaging in the app and will work towards overcoming this limitation in a future update as well.

Auto fill name when signing
When you go to add a signature to a document, we are forced to type in the person's name. This is an unnecessary step as it should auto-populate based on the clients name, with an option to overwrite if someone else is signing it. It's just an extra step that decreases our efficiency.
1 voteWhen you go to sign a document, if you look to the right of where it says “Printed Name” there is a word “Choose”. If you tap on “Choose” it will let you pick from a list of names that would be eligible to sign (contact, sales rep, etc).
We will be improving this interface in an upcoming update to make this more clear, but that should help you in the meantime!

Select Multiple Photos To Upload From Album
Adding photos from albums in the new iOS app is problematic.
· It’s not clear how to add from an album in the first place. You need to choose camera?
· There appears to be no way to add multiple photos at once. This is a real problem. My team typically will take photos all day long and then upload to the app later. Hard to work with the app in the middle of construction on a roof.
· Force Touch is not implemented correctly or is a bug. Rather than selecting an image to upload or other option, it…
14 votesThe latest update to JobNimbus 2.0 for iOS and Android now includes multi-photo upload from album!
Choose “Add Photos” from the action menu or choose to upload from the camera, select as many photos as you need, and upload them all at once.

Task Descriptions On Tasks List On Mobile
In the job nimbus app, when it shows the list of tasks, all it gives is the generic task title. There is no information identifying what job it is related to. In order to see that information you have to click into the task. This makes the process of checking off completed tasks more time consuming.

Call, Email, Text Contact From Job Page on Mobile
It would be nice if we can see the client phone number and email while in while I have the JOB pulled up. I don't want to have to click back to the contact to then get the number and call.
I would like to be able to call, email, text the client straight from the job section not the contact.
Is there a way?

show dates to the mobile calendar
grid lines are not helpful on mobile calendar. dates would be better
1 voteIt sounds like you’re on our old mobile app which has a bug with displaying the calendar’s dates on iOS 10.
Please search for JobNimbus 2 on the App Store and download that and you should be good to go!

Upload pictures from phone to mobile app
When the desktop actually does sync the contact with the app, you can go to the camera and take a picture of something and it'll add to the attachments, but I haven't found where you can upload a picture from your gallery.

Show Customer Info By Default (address, phone number)
So the new version (2.0) app does not display the customer's contact info or address on the customer's "home page"
To see where a customer lives you have to open up maps, or go the the "edit" page scroll down and find the address.This is quite annoying

new app sorted status correctly
When filtering jobs in the new app the status are not in the correct order. Can this be corrected?
