commentedWe work with insurance, being able to search by claim number would be SO HELPFUL.

commentedI don't like that I can't search the added contact fields. And the notes defaults to show only 5 at a time. Or the invoice defaults to Net 15. etc

commentedAgreed - we use a custom field for job numbers because we have our own custom numbering system that contains dept number and a letter based on location that we can't replicate with Job Nimbus. Our crews and accounting reference everything by job number so this is a major set back with Job Nimbus because we can't search for a custom field.

commentedIt would be very helpful if the custom fields contents could be found via the search bar.

commentedAs a user of JobNimbus over past 3+ years with 3 different companies unrelated to each other - one thing that has been consistent amongst all 3 companies is that Claim numbers have been a vital aspect of how we track and locate our customers. With JobNimbus, we are able to create a custom field for 'Claim Number' which is great for documentation purposes, but it is virtually useless being that custom fields are unsearchable and do not populate in the search bar. Yes, pulling a contact report and filtering the claim number is away that we can locate a contact based off of this field, but this method is time consuming and unrealistic in this industry. I believe that if a survey was generated to find out how many JobNimbus users have created a custom field to store their claim numbers - the results would speak for themselves. Please take this request into consideration, as it would be a reassurance that our company has made the right choice in choosing JobNimbus as our CRM platform.

commentedOur company uses job id(number) extensively. I agree with other users for a global setting for default search. But i will like to suggest the following example for the header of the page [Search Box______________________] [\/] Advanced (Drop Down) [ ] Contacts [ X ] Jobs [ ] Invoices [ ] WorkOrders
 [ ] Material Orders [ ] Custom Fields

commentedWhen you build a box to capture data, you should be able to search that data. Good example, search for phone number. You get a call from a third party adj, I could quickly see if I have worked with he or she before.

commentedYes, very needed. I have a simple work around but it takes entering the claim number twice.
You can put the claim number in the description box, it's searchable.

commentedWe should be able to select what we are searching for. Etc... select from a drop down next to the search bar (all, contacts, jobs, etc..) allowing the selection to stick as well. this way when the guys in the field are searching for a customer, all of the jobs, documents, pictures, and everything shows up making them WEED through to find the right one. Its kinda hard to train roofers to only click the one with the face instead of the very first thing that pops up...

commentedUntil there is a universal search, it would be very helpful that we could select which fields are able to be searched. We do a lot of insurance work and need the ability to search the system for a claim number. I'd suggest a check box to enable search. To be able to do that with existing fields is ideal.

commentedWe really need a full featured search that searches the entire database. We often need to find esoteric things that are mentioned within notes or task

commentedSearch expansion/streamlining/improvement in general. Add search to custom fields. Quicker query results. I also often times search for a name and it doesn't pull anything up.

commentedWe need to search for claim number or policy number sometimes. Certain insurance companies send us correspondence with only the claim number on it *ahem* USAA. Right now I have to search for USAA contact and look at the jobs listed and scroll through the column with the claim number until I find it. PIA

commentedI would like the capability to search in custom fields I added to our contacts. For instance, we have jobs with different addresses than our contact addresses so I added an Address field. I cannot search in that field I added.

commentedWe are a dog training company, so there are times we want to search for the a dog's name rather than their owner's name. I thought if I added the dog names under tags that would solve that, but it didn't work.
