I don't like that I can't search the added contact fields. And the notes defaults to show only 5 at a time. Or the invoice defaults to Net 15. etc

I agree with this. But to help myself to keep better track of these, I have created automations with filters to email me once an invoiced customer has gone past a certain number of days.
