You should be able to search all jobs and or contacts by City.

We should be able to select what we are searching for. Etc... select from a drop down next to the search bar (all, contacts, jobs, etc..) allowing the selection to stick as well. this way when the guys in the field are searching for a customer, all of the jobs, documents, pictures, and everything shows up making them WEED through to find the right one. Its kinda hard to train roofers to only click the one with the face instead of the very first thing that pops up...

Until there is a universal search, it would be very helpful that we could select which fields are able to be searched. We do a lot of insurance work and need the ability to search the system for a claim number. I'd suggest a check box to enable search. To be able to do that with existing fields is ideal.

We really need a full featured search that searches the entire database. We often need to find esoteric things that are mentioned within notes or task

Search expansion/streamlining/improvement in general. Add search to custom fields. Quicker query results. I also often times search for a name and it doesn't pull anything up.

To have search pick up my custom contact fields would be awesome

With over 9,000 contacts, there is no way I can search for anything and get it timely.

If i search a name in full it should be top of list not second or third page ???
A search should be simple and fast ? -

We need to search for claim number or policy number sometimes. Certain insurance companies send us correspondence with only the claim number on it *ahem* USAA.
Right now I have to search for USAA contact and look at the jobs listed and scroll through the column with the claim number until I find it. PIA

I would like the capability to search in custom fields I added to our contacts. For instance, we have jobs with different addresses than our contact addresses so I added an Address field. I cannot search in that field I added.

We are a dog training company, so there are times we want to search for the a dog's name rather than their owner's name. I thought if I added the dog names under tags that would solve that, but it didn't work.

Quite often I will use the search feature for telephone numbers, addresses, and keywords. However, I have found that it does not pick from our custom fields and customized settings.

It would be great if we could have a setting for what information is accessed by the Search bar. Or at least a way to filter the results so that when I typed in "Robin" it didn't pop up with every contact with the last name Robinson, every job done on Robins Song Dr, etc.

I wish job nimbus had the ability to filter out what search results pop up when searching by keyword on your page header. It would be nice if we didn't have to scroll through all of these attachments of each customer's profile, as well as any and all related contacts showing up as its own search result- if we were to search by name or address and only the contacts with those keywords relating to them, would pop up, it would be nice

For any search not only record type; i.e. give me all the contacts that have "shoe" in them; a view would appear with only the 2-3 contacts that have "shoe" in them.
