Filter Jobs with a board to view all jobs or jobs assigned to me.
Would like to have the ability - if the admin has turned on the ability for users to view all jobs in boards - Give the individual user the ability within boards to show all jobs or just jobs that are assigned to them.
We have a lot of jobs and employees - We don't want to handicap users by only allowing them to see just jobs assigned to them - there are many times that they need to see all jobs to have an idea of what's going on - but at the same time, it would be good…

Budget Permission Controls
I like the budget feature, but would like to be able to 'lock' it from the sales reps and anyone else who doesn't need to edit it. The reason for this request is because admin's should be the only one's to have access to adjust the budget or commissions.
6 votesYou can set Budget permissions in the Access Profiles tab in your Settings.

Archive Jobs that are completed
When a job and contact is completed it would be nice if we could archive the job and contact so it doesn't clutter up the Pages, Options to Archive Contacts and Jobs associated with them would be nice when they are completed, my screens are becoming very cluttered.
5 votesOur 1.12 update, we’ve added customization to the Contacts and Jobs grids. Now you can customize your Jobs grid with a Filter set to filter out jobs in “Is Closed” statuses (Completed, Deleted, etc.)

Vendor Tracking in QuickBooks
I was wondering how to add contacts that would integrate with Quickbooks Online's vendor contact list. When I select "supplier" as the contact type in Jobnimbus, it applies it to Quickbook's "customer" category.
4 votesYou should be able to set your vendors now when setting up the sync with QuickBooks. Enjoy!

Access/Save naturalForms via Jobs, not just Contacts
The link to naturalForms is great. However, nearly all of the forms we need to capture are for the actual project (job). I'm hoping you can fit this enhancement in soon. Until then we will be manually saving forms to the contact as an attachment, downloading the attachment to the device, then resaving the file as an attachment under the job.

Increase/Remove Limit on Number of Custom Fields per Type
When adding Contact Fields the system doesn't allow you to add more than 10 Contact Fields of the same type which I think there shouldn't be a restriction on the number of Contact Fields someone needs to add.
3 votesYou can now add more custom fields! The limit has been increased as follows:
Text/Option List – 35
Boolean – 20
Decimal – 20
Number – 20
Date – 30 -
Export Activity Notes Per Job/Contact
It would be nice to be able to export all of the notes for a job/contact to something that is easy to email (word, csv, etc). We use jobnimbus as adjusters and oftentimes we need to export all the notes to add to the file as evidence that a call has been made or email received, email sent, content, etc etc. Thanks.
3 votesYou can do this right now by creating a Document Template and simply adding the template field for User Created Activity. Here are the steps:
1. Go to your Settings and find the Templates tab.
2. Use the Add Template button to create a Document template.
3. In the “Insert Template Field” menu from the toolbar, find “Activity” and then choose “User Created Activity”.
4. Call this document “User Created Activity” or “Activity Notes Export”, whatever would best help you remember this.
5. Click Save.To generate this document to get your notes, go to the Contact or Job that you need the activity notes exported and do the following:
1. From the contact or job’s action menu (gear icon) choose “Create Document”
2. In the Design Template field, choose the new template you created.
3. Then click “Save”.You’ll then see how this activity fits into your created document.…

Filter Contacts by Status under contacts tab on Dashboard
I would like to filter contacts by status on the dashboard. Like on the Task where you can choose incomplete, complete or both. It would be nice to filter leads, quoted, etc. If you have 100 contacts it is hard to see their status.
3 votesOur 1.12 update, we’ve added customization to the Contacts grid. Now you can customize your grid to either filter by status, or group by status.

Customized fields
I would like to customize the fields so we can change or delete the names of certain fields within the job or contact. For example, If I wanted to change the fax number to phone number or a field for contact name.

Multiple people on a single task
Is there a way to add multiple contacts onto a single task/email notification? That would be huge time saver.

The ability to override the duplicate contacts feature.
Some names are common. Sometimes you actually DO have 2 John Smiths who are NOT the same person and therefore not a duplicate contact. The warning is great and all, but I need to enter a 2nd Jessica Roberts.
2 votesYou can already override this feature by just clicking the “Create Contact” button at the bottom. It should let you save a contact with the same name without problems.
If you run into any issues, please contact support@jobnimbus.com for help.

Ability to delete attachments brought into a job file
We have noticed that logo's are coming in because users have added image attachments as their signatures, rather than using native HTML signatures. This means that the attachment file in a job is getting filled up.
Could you give us the option to delete these image attachments brought in by emails as the amount of these are causing great difficulty in seeing the photos you want to find.
2 votesI just heard from the dev team, looks like we are going to implement a filter for not saving inline images, including those in signatures. This should prevent those images from getting in the way of regular image attachments and should get you all or most of the way there!

Two (or more) workflows under a job
We do insurance work and need to track where a file is at with the insurance company, at the same time, we track production. Would be great to be able to have two workflows (ie. one Production, one Insurance Supplement) under one job.
2 votesThis is a situation where Work Orders are more appropriate, as you can run multiple workflows with multiple Work Orders, while still having the main Contact/Job workflow for the overall job/customer.
Each WO workflow would have it’s own board so you could track them independently.

syncing Quickbooks based on job status, not contact status
I would like to be able to sync to QB using job status, not contact status. We have multiple jobs for certain contacts, and need to be able to sync each job separately since they have their own invoice and data. Currently we are unable to use the QB sync at all even though we are set up for it.
2 votesSimilar to how you can set the QuickBooks sync using statuses on the Contact Workflows, you can set the same sync settings for your Jobs by going to the Jobs Workflows tab in Settings and editing the workflows there.
Each status has a checkbox, and JobNimbus will only sync a job to QuickBooks when you arrive at the first status that is checked for the sync. If you have a “Lead” status on your job workflow, then you could leave this unchecked, but if you have a “Sold” or “Invoiced” that you want sent to QuickBooks, you can have that one checked so that it starts sending the job over to QB at that stage of the process.
As long as the Contact is already synced over to QB, the job will sync at the corresponding stage according to your settings.
If you need help setting this up, let us…
