Customize Cards on Boards
Would like to be able to customize the information displayed on the cards in boards.
• Job Number
• Start Date
• Company Name
• Custom Fields
• Address Line 1
• City
• Etc.100 votesWe have completed the first version of customizable cards for boards. Some of the ideas in the comments were not implemented, but can be considered in the future.

Ability to Duplicate (Contacts, Jobs)
As certain jobs are duplicated (i.e. repeats), it would be great to have a function that enabled duplication of jobs when creating a 'new' job rather than having to reenter the data.
Sometimes we need to add another contact from the same company, so duplicating all info and related items, etc and just changing the name.

You are now able to merge contacts into each other.If you want to vote on merging Jobs together as we haven’t added that yet you can vote on this suggestion here. New Contact & Service Request Web Forms
We all have company web pages, many more customers are finding us that way. It would be nice if Job Nimbus had a web form that could be embedded so new customers could add their own contact information.
A seperate web form for company web pages allowing for existing customers to submit service, warranty, or sales call.
These forms would enter the information while also sending alerts and preferably triggering a workflow.

Drop Down Custom Field
Pick boxes when there can only be a certain number of choices, force user to pick one instead of putting something in that doesn't make sense.
33 votesThis is not a drill: You can now add Drop Down style custom fields for Contacts, Jobs, and Work Orders! Just head to Settings > Contact/Job/Work Order Fields tab(s) and choose “Options List” to get started.

Right Click Cards to Open In New Tab/Window
Please make a contact inside a board "right click - able"
26 votesWe have added a way to quickly open a Job or Contact in a new tab, straight from the Board view. On Mac, if you hold "command" and click the card, it will open that Job or Contact in a new tab. On PC, if you hold "control" and click the card, it will do the same. Give it a whirl, and feel free to respond with any other feedback!

Ability to Disable the Financial Tab on Contacts
I generate my estimates at the "Job". Having a "financials" tab at both the Contact level and Job Level causes confusion. I'd like to ability to disable the Financials tab at the Contact Level in order to avoid this confusion.
26 votesGreat news! We recently launched a new enhancement into a beta rollout. Those in the beta no longer see the "Financials" tab on the Contact, but only on the "Job". Force "Job" creation under "Contact"
A setting that forces a "Job" creation would be very helpful for us.
Or....
Eliminate the ability to create quotes, invoices and material orders from the "Contact" forcing everything to be done through a "Job"
It is so easy to do a bunch of work under the Contact by mistake, with no way to transfer it to the correct job.

23 votesHello! We recently launched a set of improvements into Beta that prevent users from being able to add Financials to the Contact, and only allows them to be added onto the Job. You previously expressed interest in this functionality, so I wanted to reach out to see if you'd be interested in learning more and potentially joining the beta rollout for this functionality.

Warn before adding a "duplicate contact"
Don't let anyone add a "duplicate contact" to prevent conflicts and duplicate entries. Possibly for jobs, too.
21 votesIn our latest update, we added a duplicate contact checker that looks at the First and Last name of the contact you’re adding and provides suggestions for possible duplicates. We’ll have more information on our blog soon, as well as in a newsletter, so stay tuned.

Google Maps
map quest is okay. But it does not give the ability to zoom in really close to view roofing vents, or details, or street view for colors of drip edge and gutters. I use google maps a lot for this reason and I think it would be great if you could link the address to the google map, even if it popped up in a different window

Automation for Status Change
to have the automation for status changes with out having to move the job on the board. Example; once the work orders are complete it sends it in the next stage of the work flow, AR. Since the jobs don't have invoicing until the work is complete them it would make since for the job move to AR. Or, automation to move the job to closed once the invoice is paid in full by the client

Days Since (Age Tracking)
Jobs in a certain status since..., invoice in a status since...
Once an invoice has been sent out it would be nice if JobNimbus had a way of keeping them in an aging que that tracks how many days go by with out payment and it makes you aware of when invoices are nearing their due date, due and when they are past due. Maybe like a green, yellow, red system. I think this would not only be helpful for those in billing but it would allow follow up with the clients before invoices become due.

'Download All' Button for Attachments
Add a way to download all attachments into a zip folder with click of one button.
15 votesWhen you use the “Share” option on a job or contact, it will send a link to the recipient(s) of your choice. That link will provide access to a “Download All” button which can be used to get all the files from the contact or job downloaded in a single zip folder.

Required Custom Fields
I wish we could make certain contact or job fields mandatory so you have to get certain info to complete a new contact.
13 votesYou now have a “Required” checkbox when adding Custom Fields so you can force it to require data to be entered or an option to be selected with the new Drop Down (Options List).

An API
It would be great to have a simple web service that we could send requests to to get back information on jobs, contacts, estimate and invoice totals, etc. This would allow interested 3rd parties to build plugins, etc for outlook and other softwares.
9 votesWe’ll do you one better: We already have an API, so any software can integrate with us, we’ll just send them the documentation.
But we just released an integration with Zapier that automatically connects JobNimbus to 750+ apps and services without any additional work!
Have fun, and send any other companies our way for any specific integrations.

Google Maps Instead of MapQuest
Love the map view in calendar, just wish it would open in Google Maps instead of MapQuest.

Ability to Show Age on Board Cards
It would be nice to see right on the card in boards how many days a contact or job has been in its workflow status.
8 votesWe’ve added Days in Status to board cards for Contacts, Jobs, and Work Orders. You can also see this number in the Details screens and in a column on your reports.

Populate address when creating a job on the mobile app
On the new mobile app, when we create a job under a contact, the contact's address does not populate on the job like it does on the web app. We would like the address to populate instead of having to manually enter it every time we add a job under a contact.

More Permissions for Boards
when you click "edit" on a contact board, there should be more options in the "Available to" drop down box, instead of only "just me" or "available to everyone". Include the option for "View Only".
