  1. custom csv headers for external measurement integrations - advanced measurement token mapping,

    it would be incredible if under the estimate settings page, under tokens, user-created token fields came with the ability to include naming convention mapping for the headers on the source CSV file.

    i discovered that a roofr report can be imitated, because the only data that is being validated are the pre-saved CSV headers from the roofr report.

    this would also make it so hover and eagleview reports could be parsed even if the integration isn't enabled/no valid account (if this is why we dont have the capability now, tell the c-suite to collectively eat a d*ck)

  2. Easier to use contract signing feature

    Easily 1/2 of our customers get lost trying to sign the contracts from the emailed estimate. The PDF viewer misleads them that they should be signing it and the only way to sign is to click a non-descript blue button at the top right of the screen that is not obvious or easy to see that is labeled [Continue]

    There should be a button that is always visible that says [click to sign] that maybe floats over the pdf viewer while scrolling through it instead of disappearing if they move down the viewer or email.

  3. Customize size of columns for description, unit, qty, etc for both the proposal and the signing page.

    The signing page is especially bad as the description gets smashed. Maybe putting the description text under all of them would allow it to spread out nicely and not increase the document length.

  4. Estimate PDF file name default to job name

    Currently, when viewing or downloading a PDF, the file name defaults to a long string of letters and numbers. This makes it difficult to quickly identify the file.

    Proposed Enhancement:
    Update the file naming convention so that the default file name uses the job display name. This will make downloaded files easier to organize and recognize. I think the way it was in sumo Quote was:

    {{companyname}} - {{Report typeName}}-{{Full_Address}}

    Benefits:

    Improves user experience

    Makes file management more efficient

    Reduces the risk of confusion when handling multiple files

  5. Remove the word "Description" which is located over the Section Titles in Estimate Details to DECLUTTER the page

    The word "Description" being above each section title clutters the page and is unnecessary. The fact that the word "Description" is right below the previous section in the same shaded color of row (see image) makes it even more confusing. There needs to be a more obvious gap between sections. You may also consider putting the column headers on the same row as the section title.
    Consider also making the font size for the section title a little bigger as well.

  6. SUMOQUTE - ENABLING HYPERLINKS ON QUOTE PAGE & ADDING IMAGES TO EACH MATERIAL

    This would be incredibly helpful:

    1. Adding a toggle option to enable/disable hyperlinks for materials on the quote page (hyperlinks are already a feature in other sections of SumoQuote). This would allow us to turn on hyperlinks for the quote, and when viewing the PDF, users could click on an item to open its hyperlink, which could link to product specifications, brochures, installation videos, or manuals for production (we use a duplicate of the signed contract and modify it for production work orders).

  7. ALLOW DUPLICATE OF EXISTING MATERIAL ITEMS ON SUMOQUOTE

    Creating an exact duplicate of a material while quote-building would significantly streamline the process of creating new materials that share many attributes with existing ones. For instance, if I have a complex formula for a material and need to create a nearly identical one with changes like supplier, brand, color, grade, or price, duplicating the existing material and modifying specific details such as description and price while retaining everything else, especially the formulas, would drastically reduce the time spent on creating variations from scratch.

  8. Input payment schedule into estimate (contract)

    Allow for payment schedule to be inputted into the estimate and allow it to transfer directly to the invoice. This would allow invoicing to be seamless through the process. This is especially important to insurance restoration. The “deposit” would be the deductible. It is critical that contractors can show the deductible paid as an individual transaction. In Texas, the insurance company will not release the withheld depreciation until proof of paid deductible is produced.

    We need the functionality that allows us to break out more payments (not just by %).

  9. Don't force the "Taxable Subtotal" to be displayed on the Quote Details. Instead, make it an option.

    When a customer looks at the quote details page, they see:
    - Quote Total
    - Taxable Subtotal
    - Tax
    - Total
    This is too much information that leads to confusion from the customer, and unnecessary phone calls or emails to attempt to explain why we have to list so much fluff.

  10. Auto-Populate All Related Contact Information in New Sales Experience for Signature Routing

    In the current New Sales experience within JobNimbus, when adding signers for a document, only the Primary Contact’s Name and Email auto-populate for signature. However, other Related Contacts (e.g., co-owners, spouses, or additional decision-makers) that are already associated with the job or contact record are not available in the signer dropdown and must be manually searched, copied, and pasted.

    Request:
    Please enhance the signer selection functionality to include all Related Contacts attached to the job or contact record, allowing users to quickly select them when assigning signers for digital signatures.

  12. SumoQuote - Editing the name on the Project only changes the name on the signature line and does not edit the name in fields in the estimate

    Editing Projects- Would like the name fields in previously created projects to update when the Customers details are edited. It only populates the correct (new) name on the signature line.

  13. Need any changes made in option 1 to transfer to the other options in the bid

    If I have a estimate that has 3 options and I notice that I have the wrong number for rolls of felt I have to either change it in all options manually or go back and change my token entry and then start a new estimate. I would be great if I could edit option 1 and then option 2 and 3 mirrored the change.

  14. A Toggle To Still Charge For But Easily Hide the Sales Tax Amount From Showing On The Estimate

    We need to charge sales tax but it would be great if there was a toggle to show or not show that sales tax on estimates. We would like to just show the final total estimate number on the estimate. It presents well and homeowners and contractors alike prefer it.

    I know there's work arounds but those just cause other problems.

  15. Add Additional Markup or Discount

    In the stand alone SumoQuote on the estimates detail page there was the option to "Add Additional Markup or Discount" That has been changed in the JobNimbus version to only be "Add Discount" The only way to adjust it is with the margin slider which alters every line item and is a pian to fix if you need to undo anything because you have to go back and individually fix each line item.

  16. Margin slider stays stable when editing prices on items

    When editing items in SumoQuote the margin slider sometimes moves on it’s own to adjust. We want it to always stay constant, or at least have an option for that.

  17. Character Limit warning on quote details line items

    Update error message when Quote details page line items exceed the line item character limit (4004). Or create a character limit warning on the line item itself to indicate when a user has too many characters and the PDF won't generate.

  18. Manual Financing Options recorded on signed quote PDF

    When a manual financing option is selected on a quote, have the financing option recorded on the PDF for the homeowner and office personnel to reference quickly. Also have a financing email sent when financing is selected (on a manual financing entry) to notify office staff to check for financing.

  19. Estimate section templates

    There should be a "Section Template" section where I can build out common "packages" as a sections. Then I could take the Estimate template I want and easily add in "Section" for the "Section Templates". This would having to add line by line the different parts and labor that go into certain add packages.

    I use Job Nimbus for three different HI companies, one is roofing, one is gutters and one is patio covers. For the patio covers we often have electrical packages but not always. So if I can start with my standard solid roof patio cover template, and…
