  1. Please Improve Design and Layout for Estimates

    Presentation is very important to closing deals and I believe JobNimbus has an incredible opportunity to become the undisputed king in the market-- so far, Roofr has the best proposal design in my opinion. There are very limited designs in SumoQuote and you can only select one template for the entire company across reports, estimates, repair estimates, etc.

  2. Allow Admins to Build/Assign Personal Layouts for Team Members

    Most of the reps in our company love the idea of having personalized quotes, but aren't familiar enough with SumoQuote to be able to effectively create them under the layouts section. I would love a way to be able to build my team layouts and assign them to singular reps.

  3. "Direct Price Entry" – because it’s about entering the final negotiated job price directly without automatic cost adjustments.

    I would like to request a feature that allows me to manually enter a straight price for a job when I negotiate a final amount with a client. Right now, I have to rely on the profit margin slider to either bring me up or down to the agreed price, which can unintentionally change my material and labor costs. The only other option is to create a separate line item for the agreed price, which is inefficient and clutters the estimate. I should be able to simply input the agreed total price directly, without it affecting my calculated material costs…

  4. NSE - Product Selection on the authorization page

    Put a section in the "signing and upgrades" section to add color selections like it is in SumoQuote. This makes it very simple and straight forward for customers to indicate their product selections.

  5. For simple estimates, allow users a cleaner way to insert our legal language.

    Currently, we have to put any legal language into the footer of a simple estimate, and that creates way too big of a risk of our sales reps either not putting in our legal language, or using outdated language. Plus, the quote looks incredibly ugly when you shove the legal language into the footer.

    There should be a way for our administration team to add our legal language to ALL simple estimates, and not have it in the footer.

  6. Labor and materials that came from SumoQuote into Job Nimbus are all wrong - labor is listed as materials, materials are listed as labor & m

    Labor and materials that came from SumoQuote into Job Nimbus are all wrong - labor is listed as materials, materials are listed as labor & materials. I have a project with a labor cost of over $2k, the system is saying my labor breakdown is $112.50 because my labor is coded as material. It was all correct in SumoQuote before our data was moved.

  7. Linking vs COPYING

    Instead of linking option 1 to option 2 - why not allow user to copy option 1 to option 2 - this way the user can replace a component with another - while still keeping the quantities of all the other components intact -

  8. High Volume Photo Share with Clients

    While the SumoQuote system does have the ability to add photos to quotes on the inspection page, we need a way to handle high volumes of photos. Commercial jobs as well as insurance jobs can require lots of documentation. Hundreds of photos or more can be needed, but this causes issues with loading and with generating the PDF's. We need a method by which we can share larger volumes, either higher compression for PDF viability or some sort of link to cloud access.

  9. Ability to Lock Specific Estimate Page Layouts from Salesmen Editing

    Create a feature where the admin that created the estimate template can LOCK certain pages, so that a sales rep cannot edit them in the field (either by accident or on purpose). The best example would be the Home Improvement Contract/Terms and Conditions. I would never want my salesmen editing that.

  10. Personal and Account Estimate Templates

    In SQ, our team used to be able to generate their own templates and manage those outside of the company templates. That was removed with the new estimating and our team has to create custom templates with their initials to know the difference and it makes navigating estimates much more difficult

  13. custom csv headers for external measurement integrations - advanced measurement token mapping,

    it would be incredible if under the estimate settings page, under tokens, user-created token fields came with the ability to include naming convention mapping for the headers on the source CSV file.

    i discovered that a roofr report can be imitated, because the only data that is being validated are the pre-saved CSV headers from the roofr report.

    this would also make it so hover and eagleview reports could be parsed even if the integration isn't enabled/no valid account (if this is why we dont have the capability now, tell the c-suite to collectively eat a d*ck)

  14. Reviewing estimate data

    After an estimate is worked up and signed, if you click it you only have the ability to see the pdf version but not the quantities and price of each Item that is listed.. It is helpful for managers to be able to review the estimate and how it was worked up. If there is a way like the old job nimbus where you could click on it and not only see the PDF version but the data that built it out it would be very helpful.

    It is mind boggling to me - that we use this CRM - to convince our customer to buy from use - based on the estimates we create using this product. But when the estimator isn't working properly and you ask Tech Support for help - they schedule you a week out or more. For instance - I am using those measurement to calculate starter shingles - using this formula - and this is the estimate I receive - I have to wait until 12/12 and today is 12/4 to get assistance with this and other formula issuues I am…

  16. Editing UM +Calculation

    we need the abiltiy to edit the Unit of Measure - for instance I created a formula to calculate starter and used the LF as the UM - however on the products list that product is set up as a BD or BDL so the formula doesn't work - I tried to edit the UM on the formula created but it would not allow it. PLEASE give us the ability to edit the UM - just like we can edit the tokens and such. Thank you!!!

  17. Enable the ability to delete the auto-contact info of the sales rep shown on the estimate cover page.

    On the cover page of the proposal in the bottom left corner it automatically lists the email and phone number of the Sales Rep linked on JN. The issue is that this has been very confusing to the customer. It is just a random email and phone number listed right next to the customer's info, but shoved in the bottom left corner.   18. Easier to use contract signing feature

    Easily 1/2 of our customers get lost trying to sign the contracts from the emailed estimate. The PDF viewer misleads them that they should be signing it and the only way to sign is to click a non-descript blue button at the top right of the screen that is not obvious or easy to see that is labeled [Continue]

    There should be a button that is always visible that says [click to sign] that maybe floats over the pdf viewer while scrolling through it instead of disappearing if they move down the viewer or email.

  19. Customize size of columns for description, unit, qty, etc for both the proposal and the signing page.

    The signing page is especially bad as the description gets smashed. Maybe putting the description text under all of them would allow it to spread out nicely and not increase the document length.

  20. NSE Estimate/Quote details page - Line item name from Product & Services shouldn't populate, or if it does, should be better.

    When creating an estimate in the NSE using a product/item from JobNimbus Product & Services "library/catalog", the Product Name is pulled into the first line of the item field and put in-line with the actual first line of the Product description. This causes the first line to look jumbled on the finished estimate. Attached is a screenshot of when creating the estimate, and one of what the customer sees.
