Grouped taxes for Quickbooks
Quickbooks is now separating taxes by city and state, however, you can only select one or the other within JobNimbus when creating an invoice, which is a major problem. The only current workaround is creating a special "grouped" tax rate within Quickbooks. The problem with that is that it is not segregating the taxes within Quickbooks, and makes accounting more difficult.

I have brought this up many times. None of our sales tax groups sync with JN. So I had to create a whole seperate set of sales tax items for JN only. Then when I sync with QB, I invoice and change to correct tax group. I have to use the groups in QB to be able to collect for all the many jurisdictions.

Yes Texas Comptroller is very aggressive auditing sales tax. there are typically 3 taxing entities in each sales tax code. City, State and Transit, some have special districts, etc...We have to report tax collected for each entity. I agree with William Graves and knowing about this since 2019 I makes me wonder why 6 years later Job Nimbus hasn't resolved this in their software.
