Days in status being part of automation conditions
For days in status as part to an option in the conditions section of automations.

This is already possible. You want to do a time based automation running X Days after Date Status Change
This is the same thing as saying. Do this after Days in Status equal X
For the condition, I set Type equal to Workflow Name so it will run on any job in that workflow after X days in the same status
