Search Bar on Tasks
I would like to have the ability to have a search bar on the tasks page. I know this can be done through a report but a search bar would be so much easier. For example, if I want to see all the tasks titled "Create Warranty", I can just use the search bar to find them all instead of creating a report.

Task Workflows/Statuses
Similar to job and work order workflows, it would be nice to have something similar for different task types instead of just 'Incomplete' or 'Complete'. For example, if you have an 'Appointment' task type, having the ability to mark the Appointment task as 'Confirmed', 'Reschedule', 'Cancelled', 'No show', etc. would be a very quick and easy way for other team members to track the progress of that task instead of waiting for the assignee to provide an update or make it complete (which isn't always the right outcome).

We need to search by phone number.
We sometimes get calls without a caller ID. Or voice mails that are garbled. Why can't we search our records for a phone number?

task name field too small in edit
In the “View Task” pane on the right side of a job, the Task Name displays in a large, readable field, which works great for longer titles. However, when editing the task, the Task Name field becomes very small and uses a large font, making anything longer than about 20 characters difficult to see. This is especially frustrating for tasks with longer names. It seems like this could be resolved with a simple layout adjustment to allow the field to be larger or multi-line (at least 3–4 lines) when editing.

Task back/ Notification once a user completes a task
Would love like a checkbox flag you could press, that says "Task Back" or similar. That when you create a task for a user, you can check that flag. Then once that initial task is completed, the creator of the task is notified or a new task is created for them to review the work completed.

Work Orders NEED to Sync with Calendars
This is an ongoing request for 4 years now, why hasn't JN not fixed this?? Major flaw of JN. Work Orders have the option to schedule a date to start the work, so it's like setting an appointment. Why is this not synced to calendars?

Sort Tasks Geographically
Our guys like to do the task in the North part of our region one day and the tasks in the South part a different day. Some stuff is not time sensitive like : we forgot to get a photo of the finished project - Do it next time you are in the area.

default to only seeing my own tasks on the mobile app calendar on Android
Our admin and sales team members's access profile grants them Full Access (so they can see all team member's tasks).
When I view the calendar on the Android mobile app, I see a whole bunch of tasks that aren't assigned to me, but rather are assigned to other team members (image 1). If I view my calendar options, I only see my own calendar selected (image 2). It does not make sense that I'm therefore seeing other folk's tasks.

Better Task View/Task Dashboard
It would be great to have a Task Dashboard where we can view all of our tasks..but that has them separated by job. So you can see them all at one time...but per job. Not just a big list of tasks

Task Time Tracking Missing on New Jobs Experience
The ability to log time used to be accessible from the job page, but since the new update, it isn't. Requesting that this feature be reintroduced

Placeholder Tasks on Calendar
Want the option of making tasks busy tasks or not busy tasks. Essentially one that will show on the calendar but wont take up time or leave the rep as busy during that time

Incorporate Booking/Scheduling app in Calendar like Barbershops do
There is no way to sync Sales Reps availability for when scheduling appointments. How does everyone else do this task?
The solution is something called a booking app. Think of your Barber shop, they have 4 stylists, and each stylist has time slots. If we are running 3 appointments/day, 10am, 2pm, 6pm, we need a way to book these slots based upon Sales rep availability. I could Buy a subscription to Booksy, or similar app, but we pay Nimbus as our CRM, why not incorporate this feature?

Job tasks, in the settings "default name" add the "insert template field" option to allow the task to default the name of the customer. This will help when viewed on a Google calendar

Multiple start and end dates for jobs
Currently you can only add one start date and one end date for a job. But some jobs span multiple dates, but not the days in between. It would be great to be able to add multiple start and end dates for a single job.

Multiple users to one task configuration
When you assign multiple users to a task and one user completes it, it will complete it for every user assigned. In some cases, this isn't ideal, and it would be nice to configure the task to require every user assigned to complete the task before it disappears.

Have options for how the Calendar is organized
Have an option where we can organize the calendar by Crew. Where we can organize row by row by crew and not organize it by the size of the job. Wayyyy more confusing. The color organization when managing multiple crews with multiple jobs looks very chaotic and very hard to follow. The only thing I can change is which crew is what color? Would expect a little more options in this area to fit peoples preferred organizational layouts.
