Automation to be triggered with start date of work order
I create work orders using the dumpster delivery date as the start date. I would like to automate a reminder after 1 week to remove the dumpster. Currently, I'm getting the reminder triggered on the day I create the work order, but the dumpster delivery isn't actually several weeks out. So, my reminder to remove it is being sent before the dumpster arrives.

Task Auto-Assignment
I create a lot tasks throughout the day for our sales team on projects. Every time I create a task, I have to remove myself and then add the sales rep. It's a pain to have to always remove myself. Can this field either auto-pop with the sales rep or just not at all? This could be a setting in the Tasks to choose an auto-assignment or to just leave blank.

Would like tasks/jobs to show up immediately when added to calendar
When adding a task, job or contact to the calendar we have to refresh the page for it to display. Years ago, I don't remember this being an issue. Would like items added to calendar immediately displayed. There is concern for double booking jobs or sales appointments.

color block showing availability to schedule
An option to show when a team member's desired availability is for scheduling appointments. Not office hours- possibly a sticky note or color-coated fields for lead appointments.

To-Do Task Type that is not tied to a date
This would allow quick entries that we can check off like any to-do list type of app/widget. It would be awesome if it could live on the dashboard as well. For example: Being able to create a "to-do" task of materials that need to be ordered. Basically a to-do task list that doesn't require scheduling and is more for reminders/internal use.

Color Code Different Types of Tasks
PLEASE allow color coding of different types of TASKS. (Tasks vs Meetings vs Appointments, etc)! I see this has been requested many times, but the Job Nimbus technical support person I am currently chatting with told me the requests I voted for were from years ago, so I should submit this again. Thank you for your help!

I will say this every day. This seems like the easiest thing you could ever add. You add all this other crazy stuff. PLEASE PLEASE let us color code our calendars to our liking. Those little icons are crazy. I want to make certain things certain colors. Having colors per employee is not helpful!!

We need reoccurring weekly tasks on the calendar!
We need reoccurring weekly tasks on the calendar please. Like a weekly meeting, but we have to re-enter it every week which seems like a waste of time when calendar automation is pretty simple like on a google calendar, etc.

Tasks with no specific timeline
Somewhere to drop/write down tasks that need to be done but don't have a specific timeframe for them to be done. Should be able to view this during calendar view if desired and drag and drop tasks into calendar once you know when you're going to do them

Create an easily accessible "Add Contact" button to the drop down list where the "Add Job", "Add Task", and "Add Board" buttons already exist.

task name field too small in edit
In the “View Task” pane on the right side of a job, the Task Name displays in a large, readable field, which works great for longer titles. However, when editing the task, the Task Name field becomes very small and uses a large font, making anything longer than about 20 characters difficult to see. This is especially frustrating for tasks with longer names. It seems like this could be resolved with a simple layout adjustment to allow the field to be larger or multi-line (at least 3–4 lines) when editing.

automations should have the ability to delete tasks on related jobs
If a task is marked as complete, one of the actions should be to delete other related tasks on the same job. this would allow for multiple choice options at different stages of the process, which could change the direction of the job flow without leaving multiple unfinished tasks, or when a job status is updated to "lost" it could delete all other tasks related to the job so they dont appear on lists calendars or reports

Task Workflows/Statuses
Similar to job and work order workflows, it would be nice to have something similar for different task types instead of just 'Incomplete' or 'Complete'. For example, if you have an 'Appointment' task type, having the ability to mark the Appointment task as 'Confirmed', 'Reschedule', 'Cancelled', 'No show', etc. would be a very quick and easy way for other team members to track the progress of that task instead of waiting for the assignee to provide an update or make it complete (which isn't always the right outcome).

default to only seeing my own tasks on the mobile app calendar on Android
Our admin and sales team members's access profile grants them Full Access (so they can see all team member's tasks).
When I view the calendar on the Android mobile app, I see a whole bunch of tasks that aren't assigned to me, but rather are assigned to other team members (image 1). If I view my calendar options, I only see my own calendar selected (image 2). It does not make sense that I'm therefore seeing other folk's tasks.

Group Settings for Calendar
It would be nice to have filters and group settings for the calendar. Daily we need to see the schedule for sales and service and projects. Every time you look at the calendar you have to check and uncheck a dozen boxes. It would be nice to have a group filter where you can see just sales reps calendars, or just service calendars, etc.

Lock the job fields
The new layout for the job card has created issues for us. The old layout had the job fields locked at the top. The only way to edit was to manually select to edit the job card as a whole.
Now, with the new update and layout, job fields can be accidentally manipulated (has already happened to us multiple times).
P.S. We also feel that there is so much wasted real estate. The Job fields don't require half a page. they should be locked, and up along the banner of the page. The fields should be able to be grouped…

Multi person task
Multiple people assigned to a task should require each person to mark complete before the task is cleared.
