Send Customers Reminders for Appointments (Email, Text)
We send all customers an email the day before their bid appointment to remind them that we need them at their house at a specific time. We also include a picture of the sales rep. The time is in JobNimbus as a task, their contact info is in the system. The sales rep is known, so it seems this could be automated.

When a new lead calls, I put them into the system for a schedule appointment for a later date. I want to configure JN to automagically send out a text message to the customer 2 hours before their scheduled appointment, letting them know that they should be expecting our contractor to be at their residence in 2 hours. Please do this internally, not a runaround fix through Zapier.

There is a way to do this, but it takes some work. You have to set up the steps in automation, for when you set a certain task, a certain email will be sent. You have to create an email template under templates first, to make it say what you need.
For example, I have it set up as an estimate at first, and when I set the appointment, a confirmation email is sent out immediately. Then, the day before the appointment, I manually go in and change all the tasks from an "Estimate" to and "Appt Confirmation", which I have another email templates set up for, and it sends a reminder for tomorrows appointment.

Would be amazing if we could also include scheduling so we could send them an option of multiple dates and times and they can pick. Help avoid a lot of the scheduling back and forth. We are currently looking at external apps for this but would be great to have it all in house or possible integration?

It would be great if job nimbus can integrate a text reminder to clients for appointments or if were running late, similar to the features this company has.

Currently, I have set up to email a confirmation to the customer for each appointment when it is set. However, it would be great if it could also send a reminder, 24 hours prior to the appointment. We have a lot of estimates flake on us, and hoping a reminder would at least prompt them to call and cancel, or make sure they are home.

IT WOULD BE GREAT TO HAVE AN AUTOMATED TEXT FEATURE TO CUSTOMERS FOR MATERIAL DELIVERY, SCHEDULED BUILD REMINDER ETC....
AND TO HAVE THEM REPLY BACK AND IT BE UPLOADED INTO THE SYSTEM!

I appreciate that Scott, for now we will follow that also. Our last CRM did it automatically. Once the office took the appointment, during that one process, it would be set for auto email to go out and do the same thing without anyone in the office having to look at the task or anything, big time saver, also there are great email templates they had with our companies logo, etc. its really the one thing it did that was great, we like nimbus better, just want to avoid the extra step of sending out emails manually each day when it can hopefully be programmed to be automated.

A prior CRM, once appointment was scheduled, or throughout the job process, we could select or deisgn templates to auto email a customer.
This was very helpful for appointments and looked very professional.
An appointment is scheduled and 24 hours to the appointment time, and auto email goes out to the customer to remind them that your company is coming to their house, on this date and this time.

Perhaps also add an option to "confirm" the appointment via email as well. The customer would get an email with the Date, time and location etc. so they can easily add it to their calendar. Having the appointment confirmed the day before (or whatever timeframe we set) would be great too.
