A way to map or autopopulate data from custom contact fields to jobs
I'd like to be able to autopopulate the data entered into custom contact fields to the same custom fields for jobs. If there could be a setting to allow the fields to be mapped or to transfer the data over that would be very helpful.

Unnecessary page break when printing job information
When printing job information there appears to be a page break before the "Notes" section so that it is always pushed to a new page. Please remove this page break.

Exporting Contacts
When exporting to csv file, the csv files uploads to excel with the full address in one column. Would like ability to download csv file so that when it is uploaded the street, city and zip are all in different columns.

Remove/Flag Duplicate Contact IDs When Importing from CSV
When I import contacts from a CSV file, if they have the same IDs as existing contacts in JobNimbus there should be a warning/flag or a way to remove them from the import until the IDs are updated.

Subcontractor contact list - see important documents quickly
One feature I liked in coconstruct is their subcontractor's contact list including a place where I can upload their W9, insurance documents etc and assign expiration dates. So every time I look at the subcontractor's contact list I can see right away if one of these documents has expired. They also give the option of loading other documents this way.

Changing how the default display name populates
"Is it possible to change what the default Display Name pulls from automatically? As it is now it pulls from the Contact First and Last Name and in our case I want it pull from the Company Name.
This would be most beneficial since much of the data is initially entered by Field Reps via Mobile Ap and I have to go back on the Web App and change all of these."
3 votesWe are planning on giving more customizability to what displays at the top of the Job Detail page and the Job card on the Boards page can already be customized as described here. But we will not be changing the default behavior of that "Display Name" field at this time

Board Options for Separate Departments
It would be really helpful if the option to have the boards speak to each other and for it only to change on your board. Production moves at a different rate than Financial, so we have to wait to move jobs until Financial is ready even though we are already past Scheduled or Pending Payment. It makes it confusing for one department to be several lists over from what boards show for the other department to be on the one they need.

Ability to have Contacts With the Same Name
Long story short, there is more than 1 Joe Smith on earth, and we shouldn't have to modify their display name to be able to enter them into the system. There are obviously other identifiers that will separate them, such as address, phone number, email address, etc. I've attached a screenshot of what the system tells me when I try to add another contact with the same name as an existing contact. I believe there should definitely be a warning about duplication, but it should be allowed. I think the warning should read:

3 votesEvery computer system needs to have an identifier that is unique for that record. In the case of JobNimbus, the unique identifier is the display name. Without a unique identifier it won’t work appropriately with other systems especially financial systems like Quickbooks.

Navigation within a Job
When I open a Job that contains Tasks and Subtasks, it would be very useful if there was a back arrow or a hyperlink path that you can click on to navigate up one or more levels.

A different interface for different contact types.
It would be nice if each type of contact had their own contact fields.
for example: Insurance Claim customer VS. Cash deal or
Commercial Roofing VS. Residential
Vendor VS. Subcontract

Option to re-send @mention notifications after editing previously sent @mentions
When we create a note and add a person as @person for example; Nimbus sends out an email. However, if we change or edit even one space in the original note, Nimbus sends out another and another each time etc. Can there be a setting to just send the Note ONCE please. Thanks.

if the mobile app would actually work
One of my guys just showed me how, when he tries to put in a new contact on his iPhone, the screen jumps all over the place making it impossible to enter the new contact. When will this be fixed, I checked, it does it on mine as well.

I was thinking clicking map on a contact would take me to their location. Is it supposed to? It took me a thousand miles away from the contact I have in for Indianapolis.

Search for duplicates based off of address, not name
Currently, Job Nimbus searches for duplicates based off of the First/Last or Job Name... but it's not searching for duplicates based off of the address. We will have 100 Smith - Repairs, so knowing if there is a duplicate isn't beneficial... but knowing that we've been out to this address previously is something we need to know.

an undo option for the automatic switch the software did to all my past job data have the job location match the primary contact
Our job locations are not the same as our primary contact yet. For over a year, we have been creating a second related contact to the job to be able to keep track of where the job is located and putting that location in for the job location; then in order to use the template features in JN such as estimates and invoices, we had to have a different primary contact entered because our primary contact is the billable client, whereas our job location is the site the work is performed. These are rarely ever the same.
