"Contact Fields" and "Insert Template Field" Combined
When you create an email template (especially for automation) you can easily select and insert a template field that populates information into the email (i.e. customer name, address, ect.). Part of the selection is "Contact Others" where you can select "Approved Invoices-Balance Due." This populates the amount due in the email, which is very useful. If you made it so that we could have the same option to use "Insert Template Field" when customizing the Contact Fields, we could do many things, including have the Balance Due right at the top of the contact.
Another thing you should do is add "Reports" and "Boards" to "Insert Template Field" so we can create our own automated reports. I tried to force the data to populate using the same style code for "Insert Template Field", but it just didn't work. I am going to cut/copy/paste the attempt below. The email i tried doing this is in my saved templates under the name WEEKLY REPORT:
