User would like to be able to create a fillable form to send to customers and have the information gathered in that form auto create a new contact2 votes
User would like JobNimbus to read a column to determine the Assigned to. Currently the user is attempting to assign leads to his sales team by importing contacts. When he imports the CSV file, by default all of the imported contacts are being assigned to him, when they should be assigned to his sales team. If the user was able to control that during import, he would save a lot of time.1 vote
We have many contacts who all work for the same company, it would be nice when creating contacts that if we select the company that specific person works for, all the address info will auto populate for the new contact. Business/Company would be the main tier of contacts and individuals within that organization would be a sub tier. You could tie a job to an overall business or to a specific contact or both.29 votes
If I have a related contact for several customers (same contact-different customers). have the ability to sort into categories.
Township is Related Contact
When you click on related contact – several customers appear that are connected to this township
Each customer is in a different category – contract signed, home visit scheduled, project closed. Right now they are sorted alphabetically regardless of their category
Have the ability to group these customers into categories, and then alphabetically within categories.
Would be so much easier to find1 vote
Tasks when you open the app doesn’t make for a good user experience.1 vote
It would be very convenient if work orders assigned to subcontractors would appear in the work order tab on their contact page! It seems like the program used to do this, but doesn't anymore.1 vote
Display the address or just the city in the boards view to make scheduling jobs closer together easier.1 vote
It would be great if when a Contact is created we could actually change the Contact into a Job?? It would be easier and not over populate the Job Nimbus as much with duplication of Customers.3 votes
Tab from one customer to the next.
If I am on a customer's page (which shows their contact information and activity), I would like to be able to click on a "Next" button to go to the next, or previous, customer. That way, if a customer has more than one unit, I can move between their screens without having to go back out an type in a new search entry.3 votes
There is a automatic number assigned to each contact-It would be nice to either be able to change that or add a field for a customer number that is searchable. Most businesses will assign customers numbers that makes sense with their system of doing things and it would be nice if there was a way to add a number that is also searchable. Currently adding a field for the job number is possible but we can not search the number and have it come up.3 votes
Since Customers, Subcontractors, Suppliers, and Adjusters are all (for some reason) under the umbrella of "Contacts," we really need a way to keep our Custom Fields separated by Contact type.
For example, I don't have any need to input a field for a Customer, when I am entering a new Supplier or Adjuster.1 vote
Address population would be nice. When you start to type the address, multiple address pop up and you can pick one

It would be super helpful to have the ability to set the customer display name field to reflect last name first (ex. Smith, John). Our accountant requires customers listed as such for quickbooks and it would be beneficial to have everything flow the same across Job Nimbus/Quickbooks. Currently, we have to manually adjust the customer display name each time a new customer is added. Having a setting where the display name is automatically adjusted to our preference, would be great. I understand you can create a report and pull by last name, yet this is more for searching customer's files and consistency among sites.

Our current system (Mhelpdesk) when I start to type an address, it automatically pulls it up. If I type 157 it will pull everything in the world with 157, but usually it is the first address I need at top. This feature saves me so much time.11 votes
As certain jobs are duplicated (i.e. repeats), it would be great to have a function that enabled duplication of jobs when creating a 'new' job rather than having to reenter the data.
Sometimes we need to add another contact from the same company, so duplicating all info and related items, etc and just changing the name.64 votes
Duplication of jobs and tasks is already on our list. I’ll keep you updated as we get closer to implementing.
Have bulk (batch, mass) update and edit capabilities for contacts, jobs, etc.
- Assign, un-assign, reassign team members
- Change status of several items at once
- Mark multiple tasks as complete

Is there a way to merge 2 or more contacts together65 votes
Update: We just released a Duplicate Contact checker for when creating new contacts on the web. It will now let you know before hitting Save that you’re adding a duplicate, which should prevent future duplicates and might help this situation. You can learn more about it here: http://www.jobnimbus.com/blog/2016/08/24/august-update-duplicate-contacts-email-delivery-status-more/
Currently we do not have the ability to merge contact records, but I made sure this was in our development queue and will update as we make progress.
Self explanatory. Going through cdv?13 votes
Update: You can almost always export your contacts from contact apps, even Mac contacts syncing with iPhone, etc into a CSV which you can then import into JobNimbus.
We will continue to move towards these other contact import options going forward.
We’re planning to add them new fangled contact import integrations (Apple/iCloud, Google, etc.) in the future.
I’ll let you know as we get closer, but we don’t have a date to announce at this time.
