Custom Dropdown that lets you pick from contacts just like Assigned To and Sales Rep
We have more than five use cases for this feature (only the ones I think most contractors could benefit from are here):
Project Manager
Customer Service Manager
Quality Control Rep
Canvasser
Make a feature where we can create custom fields that allow you to select contacts, users, and subcontractors. Maybe three different Custom Dropdown field types that isolate to each so picking isn't too cumbersome?
I hate having to populate the dropdown each time a head changes.
This would tie contact records together with more meaning than the general fields provide:
-Related Contact - How is it related?
-Subcontractor - What role is the sub playing on the Contact/Job
-Assigned to - They can see the Contact/Job but what role did they play in the customer journey? Who is accountable for rewards/demerits with customers?
It would be awesome to have a setting where you checkbox yes/no on if a user is added this custom field type, you can indicate whether they get added to Assigned To or not.
