Show Subtasks underneath Tasks in lists
I think this would really simplify listings and reports. It would also make it easier in the calendar display to show subtasks listed under their parent tasks. For example:
System construction (Task)
task1 (subtask)
task2 (subtask)
Electrical construction (Task)
elec task1 (subtask)

Sort Tasks newest to oldest
I do not need to see what I have accomplished I need to see new tasks as they come in, sorting tasks newest to oldest would be a great help.

Auto Create Tasks of Certain Task Types with Sub Tasks
Long and short;
Not only allow Jobnimbus to create different task types, but also the ability for the task types automatically created to have information pre-populated and automatically have sub tasks in the task.For example;
Task is Send in XXX Document
Sub Task; Fax document to xxx-xxxx
Sub Task; Email Document to xxx@xxx.comIt would also be nice if the task could not be closed until all sub tasks are completed.

Duplicate Tasks
It would be great if we could duplicate a task. Sometimes we start a task on one day, but need to finish it another day. Instead of moving that task, so our calendar isn't up to date, or having to recreate the task all over again, it would be awesome to have an option to duplicate the task.

Calendar Preview When Creating Tasks
Be able to see calendar when setting up tasks to make sure an open time can be selected
17 votesYou can create tasks directly from the calendar, which would allow you to see the calendar to a certain extent while creating that task, but it’s not ideal and we definitely want to do this.

Task Templates
It would be nice to have different task templates that we can use for tasks that are created frequently, but wouldn't necessarily be tied to an automation.

Notification of task completion/deletion
The option to receive a notification when a task you have created for someone else has a status change. Particularly if it is deleted or completed.

Filter "Tasks" in "Task type" dropdown
We have a lot of tasks in our task type dropdown, many of which are not applicable to certain roles at my company. It would be nice if there was a way to filter tasks so that someone couldn't accidentally create a task that they shouldn't, and at the same time, make it easier to find the task that they are looking for.

Ability to Add Documents to Tasks for Calendar
I saw where this was turned down due to a lack of community interest in the past. To whomever makes those decision, I politely ask that you consider that most people in construction companies do not spend most of their time submitting feedback to this forum. There are most likely a limited number of users who participate here, and those participating users hear and issue complaints/suggestions for the companies as a whole.

It would be great if we could add Job Documents to tasks in such a way that they could sync to Google Calendar. We do not have…

task reminder
Push notifications for tasks to remind us when they are due. We should get a notification on our phone like we do with Apple Reminders. Set tasks, reminder date/time, then be able to check complete, or remind again in 1 hour, 1 day, etc.

Add date and time to daily task email
Every morning I get an email with a list of my tasks to do but none of them have a date or time associated with them. They simply say due today or overdue.. It can't be that hard to add a date and time for these tasks that are/were all on my calendar. Without that I have to physically go into my calendar to see when they were due.

Spreadsheet-like tool
Currently, if I want to know where I'm at with tasks I have to open each individual job card, which gets to be pretty cumbersome when you have a lot of jobs going on at once. It would be amazing to have a spreadsheet-like tool where all of your job tasks could be viewed in a snapshot. I'm using an excel spreadsheet right now because it's just so much easier to keep track of dumpsters, material orders/pickups, permits, etc.

Ability to Add Notes to Tasks on Mobile
Currently on mobile app, with tasks, we have a description field. But, we need the ability to see notes on the task and be able to input notes as well like how its possible in the web browser.

Task activity show on the related contact/job activity
It would be really cool if there was a way that notes activity could reflect together on the related contact activity. So I could have the notes in the task & in the contact, then be able to search by related to each task.
