Change calendar color for subcontractors
Similar to an idea listed, but would also love the ability to change the colors of sub-contractors on the calendar. I added a few of our crews as subs and they are very similar colors which are difficult to differentiate at a glance!
We also have some long-standing colors associated with each crew so would really like to be able to carry that coding through to the calendar.
123 votesYou can change subcontractor color by hovering over the subcontractor name in the calendar. Click the edit icon and pick your color.

Send Customers Reminders for Appointments (Email, Text)
We send all customers an email the day before their bid appointment to remind them that we need them at their house at a specific time. We also include a picture of the sales rep. The time is in JobNimbus as a task, their contact info is in the system. The sales rep is known, so it seems this could be automated.

View Sub-Contractor(s) on Calendar
I would like to be able to add a sub-contractor to a job and be able to see them as a different color on the calendar in JobNimbus. This would help in tracking what sub-contractors are doing what on which day.

Freeze information box on calendar.
Have the information box freeze at the top of your screen so you don't have to scroll up to see the information box once you have selected the task from the calendar. Having that box remain on your screen would make it more efficient.

Make Calendar Inspector for Details Always Visible On Right Side
The changes you made to the calander, you are not able to open the account directly from the red box, you have to click on it, then go to the right of the page to open the account.
It would be better if you could just view the account from the red box. Only another click but still.

Bulk Edit Tasks to Mark Complete
It would be awesome if there was a way to check of task in bulk. If you get behind on checking off task it takes FOREVER to go through and check them off. I wish there was a way to just select a list of check completed task for all of them at once.

Ability to delete a task without deleting the job
When on the calendar and we have a task with a related job that we want to delete, it deletes the entire job from Nimbus. This seems like a bug. We're having to edit the task, unassign the related job, save the task, then delete it. So unnecessary.

Grouping Team Members Tasks Instead of Sorting Cronologically
As an admin scheduling can be challenging to see which team members are still open when looking at a dozen team members schedules all at once while live on a call with a customer. It would seem easier to visualize open team members if the calendar had the ability to group by team member instead of sorting by cronological order. Only seeing open slots for team members would not be beneficial since driving time plays a factor.

John 2pm3 votesYou can do this by creating Task Reports that are filtered to each team member. Since tasks can have multiple assignees, grouping by assignee or sorting by assignee is less feasible, but creating an individual task report for each helps to keep those separate and accessible at all times in Reports or on your Dashboard.

go straight to the job from the calendar
I love that I can see all relevant info and notes by clicking on scheduled jobs from the calendar. However, the only link that's currently available is to the contact, not the job. It would be so helpful to be able to go to the job (and not the contact) directly from the calendar.

1. Click on the job on the calendar
2. In the Inspector on the right side, use the ••• menu icon to choose “View”That should get you to the job, though we will certainly improve navigation processes in future updates so stay tuned.

The contact's phone number under their address, always.
When you click on an appointment using the calender, all of the contact information comes up EXCEPT the most important part, their phone number. please put that under their address. thank you
2 votesContact phone numbers should be showing for all items on the calendar that have a Related Contact with at least one phone number.

Like how you can add notes when creating or editing a contact from the three dots -> Edit menu, but with tasks instead

Printable Calendar
It would be great to be able to print the calendar in the day or month format.
1 voteThanks for your submission! There’s actually a PDF/Print button already in the top left of the calendar right under the Add Task button (between the Refresh and Map buttons).
Clicking on that will allow you to print the current view of the calendar, just in case you need it.

The Calendar View that We Need!
The calendar update on 8/2/18 has made it impossible for us to see our 18 salespeople at a weekly glance for the entire day. It is now cut off and we have to press "..." which takes us to a daily view. We've been with JobNimbus for 4+ years and this could be our deal breaker. You've made it nearly impossible for us to schedule our people properly.
1 voteWe’re sorry about that! This bug was introduced in a previous update, but it was just that: a bug. We have since fixed the issue and everything should be working just like before.

the ability to delete multiple tasks at once
When employees change and someone new takes over an existing Job Nimbus account, that new employee's name now goes on all the existing jobs/contact etc (everything) that the former user was on. If a user did not mark tasks as complete then the new user has to manually delete or complete each item. It would be nice if multiple tasks could be deleted
1 voteIn most cases, new users are added as new team members, rather than just replacing an existing team member’s login. While this doesn’t help transfer responsibilities, it does keep the audit trail separate so you know who actually performed which actions at what time.

Send sales reps an email when a task is assigned
It would be great if we had a way for Sales Reps to get an email whenever a task is assigned to them.
1 voteThis is already done and turned on by default. If your sales reps are not receiving those tasks automatically, it may be that they turned off those notifications.
Each user manages their notification preferences. On the web, go to your name at the top right and choose My Info. Then find the Notifications section where you can choose Email, Push, or Both for each notification type.

Calendar flags
A way to put a flag or marker or highlight a contact on the calendar. Some way to indicate what kind of a job it is.

You can set an icon per Contact or Job Type in the Contact Workflows tab or Job Workflows tab of your settings. Edit each workflow and use the “Choose image…” link to set the icon.
Once the icon is set, you will see that on boards, the calendar, the mobile app, and more.

Number (dates) on calendar

Calendar drag time slot like google calendar
Schedule by dragging the time. That automatically fills in time when opening the details form.
1 voteYou can already do this! Just drag any item on your calendar from day to day, or from one slotted time to another and it will reschedule that for you.

sort tasks by task title/type
Our task lists can be very lengthy, and it would be helpful if the list could be sorted. For example, if I am working on invoicing or ordering inspections, it would be great to sort out my list so I can capture all of the "like" task at one time.
1 voteYou can already do this! Just go and create a Task Report in the reports area, do your sorting, filtering, and grouping there, and then add that report to your dashboard so you always have that manicured list front and center.
