Email Integration Chrome/Gmail/Outlook - Email from Own Domain
Email integration through an extension in Chrome/Gmail to allow emails to easily be attached to a contact by searching for the contact by name through means of a drop down menu button within the external email browser.
This would eliminate the need to forward emails by means of subject line editing and forwarding to the JN email. Our customer have expressed that are confused as to who the email is coming from when a few of our personnel are replying through JN--as these replies us the same JN email, not our individual email addresses.

So is this going to happen any time soon? Both Gmail and Outlook have an accessible API so literally all it takes is building to those end points. ALL other reputable CRM's integrate with a Gmail and Outlook. So it's not even reinventing the wheel. It's really just actually doing what's considered industry standard for a CRM.

It would be beneficial to have the ability to click on an email address within JobNimbus & have it open up my external email to correspond outside of JN.

4 years later... and this issue was never resolved and by the looks of it, it will be another 4 years before anyone from JN responds to any of your concerns. With that said, the only pro I see about using JN email system is that it stays in the activity log, other than that, we've had a lot of issues. JN emails usually end up in the SPAM folder for most of our customers and even among us, JN users and of course, the main concern, which is a HUGE issue, the emails come from someone@jobnimbusmail.com.... I'm continued to be baffled on how low hanging fruit like this has not been addressed. Still have the issues mentioned in 2021. What's the actual timeline on an integration with Outlook & Gmail?
This would help all your customers with:
1. Increased professionalism for your clients.
2. Decrease spam rates. Increased open rates since it would be coming from our emails. The address that our clients are actually looking for and responding to.
3. Increased efficiency for your clients. We won't have to walk our clients through how to find our emails. This would also be a huge selling point of JobNimbus!

You are spot on with this. The email function is so archaic. I feel like I'm stepping back in time. I can't decide if the email function or photo function is the worst part of JN. Maybe a tie. They are both horrible.

COMPLETE EMAIL OVERHAUL!!!! I believe it is time for a complete JN email overhaul. The JN emails just plain sucks. It is Extremely limited in functionality. I can't even change the font size, color, do background color. I can't add an attachment to any templates. We use a lot of video emails from Loom now and we want to be able to use video email with JN. I certainly hate the fact that all my email shows up to my customer as jobnimbusmail.com My customers have NO CLUE who that is. Also why is the email completely backwards. Why is the subject line at the bottom, when I go to a contact and select "Send Email" why do I still have to click on their email to send it to them when I already told the system to "Send Email" within that contact. Why can't I attach anything from the system documents tab in an email. I can browse my computer or I am limited to attaching whatever has been saved in the contact documents tab. It is time for a complete email overhaul.

How about some feedback from Jobnimbus on this one? Clearly, it is a real issue and even more so with virtual selling during the pandemic.

This is an issue with us. We have had a number of customers mention that they thought this was spam. I feel like we may be losing communication because of it.

Yeah I avoid sending estimates from Jobnimbus. Instead I download them and send from my personal email.

I’m loosing lots of communication and contracts simply from the fact that when I send estimates out via emails the clients see as the header name Nimbus and think it’s junk mail and delete it or not even look at it. It would be nice to have my company name as the header of the email. I don’t mind sharing the Nimbus name but it should show my name first so they recognize it and open it.

I received an email from appointmentletter22@jobnimbusmail.com which turned to be spam.
I suggest you doing a better job! -

This would be almost as huge as a full screen viewer for documents!
Or a two-way QuickBooks sync!

This would be a game changer!

JobNimbus should not be the visible sender and receiver of emails. JN needs to send emails as an alias and let us choose how we want our customers, vendors, etc to view the “from and to” in all email communications. It should be a system behind the scenes that process emails via the email that we choose from a list of emails, or from contact, or a assigned person, etc. No person outside the organization needs to know we use JN email system.

I'd like an option to use my own email and or company name as the sender on emails out to my customers. Because my customers don't know JobNimbus, they get confused. Would be a smoother process to have it come from me instead.

100% Agree!!! Also, this would cut down on a lot of screen switching to figure out job #s in order to append to the correct contact, or copy/paste to JN.

Couldn't we create an email address specifically for JobNimbus to use, then enter the email address and password in JN, for it to use? That wouldn't be ghosting, that would be legitimately giving JN access to an email address on our company server. I could set that up in 5 minutes, and I'd be willing to test it.

company@jobnimbusmail.com is NOT professional-looking. Couldn't the email be ghosted to the sales rep's email address?
Could we set up a company server email for jobnimbus to send from and get replies to? I would do that in a heartbeat!
