Desktop Engage Alerts for Incoming Texts
User Story
As a JobNimbus user working on desktop, I want to receive an alert/notification on the Engage GUI when a new text message arrives, so that I don’t miss important client communications and can respond promptly.
Current Behavior
- The Engage tab displays messages, but there is no real-time alert on desktop when a text is received.
- This requires users to constantly check Engage manually, which risks delayed responses.
Proposed Enhancement
- Add a visual alert (badge, highlight, or icon notification) to the Engage tab in the desktop interface when a new message is received.
- Optionally, allow for a desktop push notification that can be toggled on/off in settings.
Benefits
- Faster response times to client texts.
- Improved customer experience and satisfaction.
- Reduces missed or delayed communication.
