Time Tracking for Employees - Clock In/Out
I would like to be able to track the time employees have spent on jobs or tasks and/or give them the option to clock in our out on the mobile app.

This is a critical feature...I have to pay for another application for my employees to clock in/out...so I have to add jobs in that app and use that app to set up my weekly schedule for my guys...so basically I have to use a separate app to do everything related to scheduling...then that information isn't tied to the nimbus job file...so we are constantly bouncing back and forth between applications...operations is not really even using Nimbus...they just use the time app...so there is a bit of a disconnect...and that isn't great...not to mention the added cost of using a separate app and man, software isn't cheap...folks are proud of their applications...
Anyway, I hope this is something that is incorporated ASAP...this is a big gap that I really hope that Nimbus can fill for us and just about every customer!! We all need it!!

Agreed it will be complete to have it all in one app.
We are using Timeero, our gps/geofence and job site time app, with job nimbus and it's working great for us now. We are using Zapier to connect the two apps so our crew can track labor hours inside of Timeero which can then be sent to Quickbooks.
Hard to do accurate labor costing without something but this setup works well for us.

This would be such an awesome addition to Job Nimbus. We would love to be able to clock in and out of either a job or a task. Tracking time on a job is an important part of budgeting and billing and would be such a useful tool.

Great feature would be being able to have a geo fence around each jobsite address and then have employees clock in generally (by gps local) and then log specifically to that job as they entered (maybe even a notification to them as they enter/leave any geo fenced area) and track the time spent inside that job. So then you would specifically know billable time vs non-billable time.
That may be getting a little fancy...but would be super to have the capability of that.

This would be a fantastic and useful feature. In order to accurately evaluate each project cost across multiple job locations I'm having to old school right now with a time sheet. Those get lost and guesstimated I would like a central online tool that my managers can over see for each of the crew members and when they change project site they could log out of one and into the next so I can apply labor hours more accurately per job.

A simple clock in clock out feature for each technician when they arrive and leave jobs. Labor is the most important tracking report in any business. I can’t believe this feature isn’t already on. Probably the easiest thing to add. Should be able to pull reports for payroll through it. Having to go through budget or task versus actual hours clocked in and clocked out seems redundant and inefficient. Please add this feature!!

Has anyone found a workaround for this? I'm a bookkeeper, and my client uses JobNimbus. I thought for sure I was just missing something when I found that there is no time tracking available on the app. I see that Zapier can be used to connect JobNimbus and some time tracking apps. Anyone have luck with something like that? And then how do you process payroll after that? We're using QuickBooks Online for accounting. Hoping this comment reaches someone! :)

A time clock is the most basic function. I really can't believe it wasn't part of this program. How can anyone bill properly without knowing how much time is spent at each job site? This really needs to be added. I shouldn't have to ask my crew to use a different program to track their hours and then some how fumble around trying to allocate them to jobs and billing. Seems like an easy fix. PLEASE ADD

As a longterm JN user we are currently ooking at other systems as we need to be able to get the time spent on jobs by our tradesman through the mobile app rather than relying on old fashioned timesheets.

Agreed. I'm so disappointed. They state "time tracking" as a feature and then it's this incredibly useless thing that is not even available on the mobile app. Clock in/out is the most basic of time tracking functions and this could seriously be a deal breaker for us.

This is huge for us. With an hourly based staff needing to cot each job including labor, this is a must-have feature. Either natively or maybe with a Tsheets integration. Something cohesive and useful.

This is an essential feature to have when you run a mobile business. Crew members are not in the office and unable to use the time tracking in the field. This seems like a no-brainer...
