Toggle on/off whether item name is shown on the estimate details page on NEW SALES EXPERIENCE.
Can you make it where we can toggle on or off to show the item name in the new sales experience? Right now it populates both the item name and the item description and it is not readable for a customer. We have all of our products and services built like the following:
Item name = {item number} {truncated item description}
Item description = {long item description}Example:
Item name= 2003 Hardieplank 8 1/4" CM Lap
Item Description = Hardieplank Lap Siding Select Cedarmill (Primed) - 8 1/4"In the New Sales Experience, in the estimate details page, the line…

Change order
There is no easy way to do a change order for a customer. They do happen often enough where it's a thing. We have a workaround using Legacy estimates, set as a change order, and then converted to a work order set as a change order.
It's needed under the Estimates because it does affect the project price.
As we use the new experience, I'm worried I'll lose that work around

Multiple Spots for Signature/Initials in NSE
It would be nice if we had the option to insert a signature/initial field in the Estimate for NSE. Right now, there is only the one signature page available, and this doesn't work for our business at this time. Currently, we are sending our Project Agreements through Adobe Sign, but would prefer to have everything in one place!

The rep or person assigned to be able to be a authorized signer. So both homeowner and Rep can sign
The thing is you have to manually put the name of the rep and also the email for both to sign. It would be so helpful if the rep that was assigned to the job is another signer along with Homeowner.

Emailing Estimate to the customer
Have the email template that is set up show up in the email box when sending the estimate to the customer so that we can see that there is a message there and it doesn't look like a blank message being sent to the customer.

Material cost in the estimate should reflect the total coming from supplier INCLUDING TAX
When preparing an estimate, there should be an option to calculate the tax that will be paid to the supplier along with the material order. This ensures that the material cost in the estimate reflects the actual total cost, including tax, rather than just the pre-taxed subtotal of the materials needed. Since this doesn't currently build in the tax we will pay to our supplier, the tax that ultimately is charged on the material list cuts into our profit margin since it wasn't accounted for in the estimate.

Send proposals and collect signatures from multiple contacts
Proposals need the ability to send to multiple contacts. Right now, the proposal can only be sent to one email address for review and signature. We need the ability to send the proposal to at least two contacts and collect signatures from both. This is imperative in Texas (not sure about other states) which requires both homeowners to sign off on work. This protects us in the event we must file a lien for non-payment and just makes it easier when working with a married couple, etc.

Allow for more than 3 options on estimate details page
Currently, the NSE estimate layouts only allow three options on the estimate details page to be used. If you want to have more than three, you have to create a different estimate to include more options, which can be a hassle. Allowing more than three options would be a lot easier.

Add unit of measure to Estimate Details in the Estimate Layout
Unable to show both quantity and unit of measure on an estimate layout for the estimate details page. Also, no control over what quantity is showing... measurement or order quantity. Example, I estimate 20SQ in asphalt shingles and include a formula in the order calculation translating SQ to bundles. Bundles are what are showing as quantity in the Estimate Layout/Estimate Details pages. So, in summary, can only show a quantity and the quantity is not translatable to the homeowner who may be comparing multiple bids and looking to see if quantities are similar across contractors.

Only sync QuickBooks summary data over to JobNimbus per job/contact (ie: totals for invoices, amount due, payments)
Request:
We want the ability see SOME invoice info (without the entire invoice syncing over) such as:
Total Amount of all invoices per job/contact
Amount Due of all invoices per job/contactThis request applies in the same way for payments syncing over such as syncing over only the Total Amount Paid per job/contact.
Reason for need:
Invoices do not sync over correctly from QuickBooks because JobNimbus doesn't allow line items with no "Item Name" /"Product/service" selected. We need to be able to have line items that are purely descriptive with no price. This requires a "Product/service" NOT to be selected.…5 votes -

Estimates signed by company AND customer.
In legacy estimates, we could easily add a company representative to sign the contracts. My attorney tells me our contracts are not valid unless both parties sign. Please make it easy to add the sales rep or company owner, etc, to the list of signers, with the ability to sign from within JN. Even better would be if the company representative can automatically have their signatures added to the contracts.

Estimate Numbers to Show on Estimate
We send multiple estimates to general contractors and estimate numbers are an easily identifiable way to track them rather than a long name.
GIVE AN OPTION TO HAVE ESTIMATE NUMBERS VISIBLE ON THE ESTIMATE. We want to see the estimate number and so do our clients. Right now there is no estimate number anywhere on the estimate, not even in the email headline. We want the option to see the estimate number since that is how we identify which estimate is which1 vote -
New sales experience - Ability to convert estimates to work orders and material orders
Unlike the legacy format we can no longer convert estimates to work orders and material orders unless they are signed. This is very important for us when we are sending our material or labor lists for subcontractor bidding and supplier pricing prior to presenting our proposals. We tried changing the estimate status to approved, but that doesn't work. Only signed estimates can be converted. We've had to duplicate and edit the estimates to make them look like a WO or MO, and since there are no internal notes available we can't tell what is what looking at the financials screen.

Option for Estimates to Sync with QBO upon creation AND be able to edit Estimate numbers MANUALLY
Right now, when we create an estimate in JN it does not automatically sync to QuickBooks until it has been ‘approved’, or the status has been changed to ‘sent’. This is causing an issue because the estimate number is not recording in QuickBooks upon creation of the estimates. If an estimate is then created in QuickBooks either by mistake or for any other valid reason, the estimate numbers become duplicated. When this duplicate estimate number occurs, my JN estimate will no longer transfer to QB because there is a confliction of duplicate estimate numbers.
To top it off, I cannot…
