Link Work Order to Job Scheduling
If it would be possible to schedule a job directly from the work order, this would eliminate the double entry work of creating a work order and then scheduling the actual job/task.
Hi Janice!
I’d like to know a bit more about what you’re looking for here. Is it that you want to be able to schedule on a work order (already possible) but have it pass over to the parent job (currently not possible)?
Let me know if that sounds about right or if I’ve got it wrong, and we’ll see what we can do to help out.
Thanks!

I think what they're getting at could be solved in two ways. Either have work orders be listed as tasks on the calendar, rather than a separate type of tasks that don't show up on a third party calendar, so any crew that's using a third party calendar, like Google calendar, could view their calendar and the pdf work order that's attached. If that's too complicated, you could also have an automation that would generate a task from a workorder at the same time as the workorder that included a pdf of the workorder.

I think what we're after here is being able to put work orders right onto the calendar. We want to use work orders for our service business, to schedule our service calls and then use them to get back info from our guys. But it looks like if we want to do that we have to print them out and then get back paper copies and info from technicians in the field will have to get transcribed from paper back into JobNimbus.
