templates for specific types of notes
I would love if there could be an option for different templates on notes. For example, if one were sending a text message and wanted to make a note of it - could the text message be sent from Job Nimbus? Similar to when an email is sent thru the +Add Note and different templates can be selected.

an undo option for the automatic switch the software did to all my past job data have the job location match the primary contact
Our job locations are not the same as our primary contact yet. For over a year, we have been creating a second related contact to the job to be able to keep track of where the job is located and putting that location in for the job location; then in order to use the template features in JN such as estimates and invoices, we had to have a different primary contact entered because our primary contact is the billable client, whereas our job location is the site the work is performed. These are rarely ever the same.

Show/Hide Boards by Location
Please have the boards visible only to the location of the member.
In our case, we have three locations, and boards that are filtered by location. Please have St Louis team members only be able to see Saint Louis filtered Job Boards.
JN Note: Potentially tie this into Location filter.

Download All Button in Attachments NOT WORKING
I need to download all photos from the CONTACT and move them to the JOB.
You really need a feature to export all photos and attachments from a CONTACT to a JOB without having to manually do this.
The Download All button is also NOT working on Google Chrome or Opera browser, also tried Internet Explorer, but it seems that is incompatible from the get go.

not working, in contacts list problem
In contracts list screen trying to change the order of contacts to be different than by name, such as status but it will not change like it used to.

Easy way to cut and paste photos onto an email like two weeks ago...download to folder and then open folder and cut and paste onto an email.
Please return to previous way
Frequently customers or insurance companies want photos.
Now I cannot cut and paste photos from JobNim onto an email like gmail UGH !! FRustrating !

Compatibility between web browser and app for contact and job fields
We originally had a variety of custom options (booleans, dates, numbers, options lists,) set up as contact fields and job fields, but then we noticed that regardless of the settings we chose, they all showed up as simple text fields in the app, which essentially made the options we had chosen useless (since our reps will be mostly be using the app). So information designated through the web, like a set option chosen from a drop down list for example, does not even show up in the app, and likewise, if information is given in a text field within the…
1 votePlease contact support@JobNimbus.com or at 855-964-6287 for assistance with this. The fields should all be compliant, although some versions of the 2.0 app had pure text input for only the dropdown menu style field, but that’s new so it’s odd that it would have affected you guys.
Please let them know what’s going on with specific details including the fields you have in your account and they’ll be able to figure out what’s going on and get it fixed on your side or ours.

Show Tasks in Contact/Job Activity Log
When creating a task and attaching a Customer(Contact), It should show in that Customer's(Contact's) Activity Log when clicking on the customer. Currently we create tasks and they only update in the Task section and Calendar. We use the Contact Activity Log for all updates regarding that Contact. I would love to be able to click on a Contact, and see everything that pertains to that Customer, including whether a task has been created and assigned to them.

Having issues with certain job file....SHREVE
On this particular file there are 1,805 notes......which is waaaay more than usual. Upon inspection I noticed that most of the notes are from other job files.
Can you please rectify this? I am having a hard time scrolling for so long to find old information.

In this particular case, you have several Related Contacts on this contact #2497, and on the Activity feed you have the “Related” checkbox checked. If you uncheck that checkbox on your Activity feed for the contact, you’ll only see the activity for contact #2497 instead of it showing the activity of the related contacts, too.

Combined boards
Would like to track both Contacts and Jobs in one single board. Our 1 time customers would not need to have a job created but our builders and real estate customers have multiple jobs. It's confusing to have 2 places to track what are both essentially jobs.
1 voteIf you’re using the Jobs feature we recommend that you go all-in on Jobs for a few reasons:
1. It will confuse the experience for team members who have to remember when to and when not to create a Job.
2. It will cause you to have to look in two places to find your info, not just on boards but also in reports, in the Contacts area, Jobs area, etc.
3. It will throw off your reports for sales numbers since they won’t be combined into the same pipeline report.If you can, try going all-in on Jobs and creating a job for each one, even if they don’t necessarily need a “Job”. Based on our experience with customers and how the system is built, it will be easier to use and more consistent.

Delete queue for admin approval
Occasionally we have an issue with duplicates or other minor issues that result in needing to delete a contact or job.
Most of our users do not have permission to delete, but they still see the option in the drop down menu. It would be nice if they could label something for deletion when they click that button. It would prompt them to confirm and perhaps enter a reason for the deletion.
That way, the admin designated as "deletion admin" would then get a notification that "user" submitted "job/contact" for deletion and requires approval. Then it could be reviewed before…
1 voteWe plan on adding a Trash Can feature for admins to see deleted items and restore them, but users who don’t have permission to delete shouldn’t see the Delete option in their menus.

Job Addresses different from Contractor
As a gutter contractor I have roofing contractors as my customers and multiple jobs for each contractor.
As a result, it won't map the job address or include it in the calendar. I have to put the job address in the name of the customer.

Edit Map Pin Location
Ability to Customize / Edit the map that pulls up from the contact screen - often the pin is in the wrong place, need to be able to click and drag to the right location.

easier search on contact tab
I like how you have made it where I can right click and open someone in a new tab, however, to find them on the contact list takes excessive time. Please let me know if there is a faster way. Right now I have to (1) sort by last name and go click on pages at the bottom to get to the page to find them. If they have a last name ending in A then it isn't so bad, middle or end of the alphabet, not so much!!! there should be a little search box so you can search…
