More Permissions for Boards
when you click "edit" on a contact board, there should be more options in the "Available to" drop down box, instead of only "just me" or "available to everyone". Include the option for "View Only".
You can now set boards to be available to certain groups of users, giving you more options for customizing how boards are shown.
If you have further questions, please contact support@jobnimbus.com or call 855-964-6287.
Enjoy!

Right now the only options is "just me" or "all team members". Would be very helpful to be able to individually select specific team members or Groups. Some boards just aren't necessary for all to see but more then just me is necessary. We work around this by recreating that board in the team members that need it but if we want to edit it we have to edit it in everyone's account

I would like to see an option when creating a board to make it a "view only" board (for both contact boards and job boards). In other words, I'd like to be able to have the board display the cards still based upon the way the board was set up but have the option to make the cards not be able to be moved on a board where this feature was turned on.
Purpose: In my opinion, the aesthetic appeal for viewing the boards is both quicker on the eye for a glimpse of which job/contact is where and quicker in accessing it compared to viewing reports. Sometimes you just want to get a glimpse of what is going on but don't want anyone to mess up the production process for example.
Examples of Use: I have created what I call a "Directory (view only)" Board under my contact boards and an "Overview (view only)" Board in my job boards. Currently both boards are being called "(view only)" to remind our users not to try and move anything since there is no locking feature available through JN yet.
My Directory Board is my first board under Contacts and it shows every contact type as a list on the board. This board actually works without the feature of view only because of my current set-up where all of my contact types (client, site, subcontractor, supplier, partner, etc) are all types and types can not currently be changed in JN (only statuses within a type can be currently changed).
However on my "Overview" board under Job Boards, this board is all the same workflow but the name of each list is actually all of the other boards we have. For example: if your production process was 1. Sales, 2. Set-up, 3. Production, 4. Closeout, 5. Archive (these are not mine but wanted to give an example), then your "Overview" board could have the titles for each list be 1. Sales, 2. Set-up, 3. Production, 4. Closeout. I'd leave Archive off of the Overview board as it would not be necessary to see that on a daily basis. Now I have each status that appears on the "1. Sales" board be listed on the "Overview" board under the list "1. Sales". I would repeat this process of adding each status associated with each board to each list on my "Overview" Board. My end result is a board where I can quickly see which jobs are in which boards.
The problem with the above is you don't want users to move any cards on the "Overview" board because it can potentially cause a job to get mess up so a feature where we can have the option to lock the board making it "view only" would be very helpful.

Boards are so much more visually appealing than reports, but JN set boards understandably to serve a different purpose than reports (with their function being to transfer statuses of jobs/contacts). It would be nice if boards had a View Only status so it could be used like a report if wanted while having visual appeal without causing the chance of a user switching any data on it.

The ability to share boards with certain people and not just Only me or The whole team. Now I have to go in and create individual boards for everyone, because Two team members can not have access to all the boards.
