I would also like to see the "Add Contact" button brought back to the main header or sidebar on the desktop version. What’s interesting is that this option is actually available on the mobile app, but it is missing on the website version. This creates a bit of a disconnect for our team when they switch from their phones to their computers.

The Request: Give us a way to quickly add a contact: whether it’s a customer, a vendor, or a subcontractor: without being forced to create a "Job" at the same time.

    The "Why" (Real-Life Example):
Right now, the system feels very "Job-centric," which is usually great, but not always. Sometimes I just need to get a new subcontractor’s info into the system, or I'm adding a new material vendor. I don’t have a "job" for them yet; I just need them in my database.

Also, for our sales reps, sometimes they're just doing quick prospecting and want to get a customer’s contact info in the system before they’ve even confirmed if there’s a project there. Since they can do this easily on the app, they expect to do it on the web too. Forcing us to create a job just to save a phone number on the desktop version creates a lot of "ghost jobs" that we eventually have to go back and delete.

    The Dream Scenario:
Just a simple, persistent "+" button or an "Add Contact" button in the top navigation bar of the website. One click, fill out the info, hit save, and I’m done. It keeps our database clean and makes the web version just as flexible as the mobile app.

It’s a small thing, but it’s a huge part of keeping our workflow fast and our data organized!

I would also like to see a new field type added to the CRM: a dropdown with checkboxes that allows us to select more than one option at a time.

The Request: Instead of being restricted to a single "radio button" or a one-choice dropdown, we need the ability to check off multiple categories for things like Trades and Lead Sources.

    The "Why" (Real-Life Example):
In the real world, a job is rarely just one thing. My sales reps might go out to a house that needs a Roof Replacement and new Gutters. Right now, because we can only pick one trade, we have to either create a bunch of messy workarounds or just pick the "main" one, which completely ruins our data and reporting later on.

It’s the same story with Lead Sources. A customer might tell us they saw our yard sign, but also found us on Google. If we can only check one box, we’re losing half of our marketing data.

    The Dream Scenario:
When we’re creating a new job, we click the "Trades" dropdown, check "Roofing," check "Gutters," and check "Siding." Now, that job is properly categorized across the board.

It would be amazing to have this as a standard Custom Field Type so we can use it for anything—services, lead sources, or even specific material types. It’s a small UI change that would make our data 10x more accurate.

I’d love to see GAF QuickMeasure added as a native measurement integration, right alongside EagleView and Hover.

The Request: Make GAF QuickMeasure a built-in option so we can order reports directly through JobNimbus and have that data auto-populate our estimates and job records.

    The "Why" (Real-Life Example):
Most of us in the industry are GAF certified and use GAF shingles for the vast majority of our jobs. Using their QuickMeasure reports is a natural fit for our workflow. But the biggest factor? Price. QuickMeasure reports are usually a lot cheaper than EagleView. When we’re bidding on 20+ houses a month, that cost difference adds up fast. Right now, because it’s not "native" in JobNimbus, my sales reps have to order the report separately, wait for the PDF, and then manually type all those squares, linear feet, and pitches into the JobNimbus estimate.

    The Friction:
It feels backwards to have this great CRM but still be manually "fat-fingering" numbers from a PDF into a digital estimate. It’s slow, and it’s where human error happens. One wrong digit and our material order is messed up.

    The Dream Scenario:
I want my sales reps to stay inside JobNimbus. They click "Order Measurement," select GAF QuickMeasure, and once it’s ready, the numbers just snap into the job record. No manual entry, no triple-checking the PDF, and a much lower bill at the end of the month.

You guys already do this for EagleView, bringing GAF into the fold would be a massive win for all the GAF contractors using your platform.

Having this would be amazing. GAF is one of the most used shingle brands and as contractors, we us a lot of their services. Having JobNimbus and QuickMeasure work together would be a game changer.

Surprised that this is not an option already. If a company has many documents, it would be nice to go in and look up a document to send or delete. For example, old state licenses can be looked up and deleted.
