Payment Based Automations
I would like to set up an automation to automatically send out a copy of the invoice with the updated payment applied. Currently automations can only pull company documents. There needs to be a way for it to pull docs from the job. Either that, or JN needs to find a way to send out a "payment receipt" once a payment is applied to their account.

Use different related contact types in automations based on attachments
The ability to add different contact types to automations exists now, but it's not available for automations with an attachment as the trigger record.

Automation to Create Work Order
Set up an automation to create workorder template when status changes within workflow sending directly to subcontractor. We do new home construction and have statuses such as roofing, siding, housewrap, windows/doors, gutters.

Additional Support for Automations Changing Statuses
Allow more automations for changing statuses. Such as, being able to change the status when a deposit is received and separately when a final payment is made. Or changing a status when a job field is selected (I would like to change status to a financed status if my sales rep changes the job field to financed). That way the office can be notified to start the finance process.

Automation that will convert fully signed estimate to a Work Order.
Would like to have the ability to set up an automation where once the estimate is fully signed, it will trigger to create the work order off of the estimate.

Automation based on Job Due date/start
I would like to be able to use the job due date/start as an automation trigger.
Currently the drop down in the automation options does not include this field.
If I create a custom field with a date I can build automations off that but I would like it to be the due date/start.

Expand the different conditions that are allowed for automations to trigger on.
For instance, allowing an automation to filter by a certain word in the name of a job. Allow greater freedom for creating more specific conditions for automations.

With the new Jobs version 2, it brings to light the issue with automations where a task is to be assigned to the sales rep. It has always been an issue that a contact may have one sales rep but multiple jobs might all have different sales reps. The automation only assigns the task to the sales rep for the contact and not the sales rep for the job.
With Jobs V2, you can't assign a sales rep to the contact during initial entry and can only assign the sales rep to the job. If you don't go back after…

Task Assignments to Estimators/Custom Fields
We have a custom field for jobs that lists the team member who is the estimator. It would be great if tasks could be assigned to that field. For creating a task the assignee field could have that option instead of just the literal names. Especially for automations. That would allow us to auto assign the task to them as well as to other role types that we create that way. Or if there could be another way to mark and auto-assign estimators and other roles like sales reps. "Sales rep" is an option on automations that create tasks, but…

ability to filter automations
I ultimately would like a cleaner way to see all the automations. so the ability to filter through them. Like seeing by who is assigned or jobflow or status as examples.

Job Automation With Ability to Change Type, Not Just Status
Warranty jobs go in the warranty workflow, but sometimes they end up not being warranty. This means the type/workflow needs to change. Our sales reps only really change statuses, not the workflow/type, because it requires extra time to open the edit box. We need to create an automation that changes the type/workflow based on a status in the warranty workflow that triggers this change.

Contact Automation With Ability to Change Type, Not Just Status
This is needed because it is not possible to create a job automation with a parent contact Type condition. My workaround was going to be to have the parent contact of the job change to a status that is a trigger status to change the contact type (so the use of both a job and a contact automation to accomplish what we need).

Ability to "not send" a First Payment Reminder email if there is a payment recorded under Payments
We currently send out a First Payment Reminder email when the job status is changed to "Roof Build Complete" It would be helpful if we could exclude a contact from receiving this reminder if there is a payment already recorded under Payments.

Groups
I would like to be able to assing automations based on a position instead of a specific person. i.e. Create a production group, assing the people handling the production aspects, and update the members when we have new hires or fires, but that way we only have to update who the member is instead of remembering to go into each thing an indiviudal is assinged ot and update that where you will end up loosing the previously assinged tasks.

Advanced Logic paths for automations
When creating an automation, the conditions are very limited because they are specific to the type of automation, and the trigger can not be made to be very specific. also, the actions are limiting since we can only send emails, update record status, etc.
what would be ideal is if we could add additional conditions which apply to other job details.
for example, we have an automation which, upon sending an estimate, it updates the status to "pending customer approval." the only issue we have is that we use the new estimates for preliminary contingency agreements with no dollar amount.…

automation for when a job status is moved out of a status
We want to put an automation in that will tell us if someone changes the status of a current status? Specifically, if someone takes something out of one of our Key status. Or if there was a way to Lock a status so that only one person can move it out of a status?

View Automation Activity
I would like to be able to view activity for changes within the automation so I can help troubleshoot when automations have been modified and if that would have caused one to trigger unexpectedly or not.

Automations to Change Work Order Status
Would like to be able to Work Order status as an option in the actions of an automation. For now, actions can update contacts and jobs, but it would be helpful if it could update the Work Order too.
